II. Descriptions
The ACCAMPTANCY 2023: TEAM BUILDING AND QUIZ BEE EVENT in the
academics department is entitled COGNOSCERE: Deciphering the Code in Assimilating
Accounting Cognizance. Cognescere is a Latin word which means ‘to find out’, in which
JPIANs are given challenges throughout the event that they need to find out how to get through
it. This year’s theme is based and inspired by the movie ‘Enola Holmes’ and the book ‘Sherlock
Holmes’. Thus, with the phrase ‘Deciphering the Code in Assimilating Accounting
Cognizance’, JPIANs must decipher the code on how to learn the Accounting subjects
effectively and efficiently. With proper process like in deducing, JPIANs must follow the
process on how to learn all the Accounting subjects throughout their journey as BSA students.
This event will improve camaraderie among JPIANs as they develop strategic competence and
intellectual competitiveness.
III. Objectives
After 3 years of online set up, this face-to-face event will be a 1-day event divided into 2
sessions: Team Building for AM and Quiz Bee for PM. The Team Building and Quiz Bee will
maintain a better standard of competition and academic distinction through competition. At the
end of the event, JPIANs will enhance not only their academic competence of Accountancy
students but also their physical and social skills in dealing with problems.
