Course Objectives : To enable the students to learn the basic greetings, small simple sentences, self introduction in Japanese language to be used in daily life.
Emphasis will be given on the spoken skills. Japan’s cultural aspects are to be discussed in the class to develop interests in the students.
Note: Foundation Standard of Teaching Methodology will be adopted to teach in the classes. i.e. reading-listening-speaking.

Students Learning Outcomes:
Students who complete this program will acquire basic knowledge of Japanese culture. They will be able to speak about oneself. Also, will be able to tell time,
day, date, month and year.
