What is Combustible?
A combustible is a substance that is
capable to get fire and burn

CLASS A COMBUSTIBLES
The class A combustible contain:
Firewood, Paper, cloth, Materials produced from oil, plastic,
rubber etc.
To fight Class A combustible when get fire, we must take into
account all of the combustible materials present in each area
which getting fire.
So to extinguish Class A Combustible fire, we have to use water
and dry pouder

CLASS B COMBUSTIBLES
The class B combustibles contain:
Gasoline or diesel fuel, Propane, Butane, Methane, Acetone and
Acetylene
To fight Class B Combustibles when get fire, do not use water and
make sure to choice the correct extinguisher. In many cases, water
will only spread the fuel around and create more fire.
To extinguish a Class B fire, you want to cut off the oxygen by
using carbon dioxide (CO2) gas to dilute the oxygen available
and stop the burning. Smothering the fire with bicarbonate
(baking soda) or potassium carbonate will also work.

CLASS C COMBUSTIBLES

A Class C Combustibles are from an energized electrical fire.

“Energized” in this case means that it is fed by a power source.
Class C Combustible may begin from a short circuit, faulty wiring,
power cord damage, overloaded devices and electrical outlets.
Any place where electrical equipment is used or electrical wiring is
present is a potential site for a Class C Combustible fire.

CLASS C COMBUSTIBLES
To fight a Class C Combustible when get fire, do not use water
because electric power source is dangerous and even fatal results
can occur and the person fighting the fire may be electrocuted if a
water-based extinguisher is utilized in an attempt to control a Class
C fire.
Make sure to choice the correct extinguisher to fight Class C
combustible fire.
A Class C fire requires an agent that can break apart the elements
that feed a fire: oxygen, heat, and Carbon dioxide (CO2).

TYPES OF FIRE EXTINGUISHERS

Different types of fire extinguishers are designed to fight

different types of fire.
The three most common types of fire extinguishers are:
1-air pressurized water,
