12 Synopsis This is an introductory course to the study of the laws that govern the conversion of
energy from one form to another, the direction in which heat will flow and the
availability of energy to do work. In this course, student will be introduced to the First
and Second Law of Thermodynamics and its applications in the other engineering
courses.
