    (PEA0420188)
    Antistatic Agents

    General Polyolefins are electrically non-conductive and have a strong tendency to accumulate surface electrostatic
    charges. Undesired or dangerous effects are dust attraction, difficult opening of bags, and static discharge.
    The addition of CESA®-stat masterbatches reduces the surface resistance of the end product and avoids the
    accumulation of static charges.
    Description CESA®-stat PEA0420188-ZN is a concentrate of non-migrating antistatic agent in pellet form.
    Physical Form Pellets.
    Bulk Density 0.60 nominal value (ASTM D1895)
    Density 0.99 nominal value (ASTM D792)
    Moisture Content ≤ 0.2% nominal value (ASTM D6980-04; 105C, 5 min)
    Melt Flow Index 5 g/10 min nominal value (ASTM D1238, 190C, 2.16 kg)
    Applications Films and molding articles for polyethylene resins: LDPE, LLDPE, HDPE and EVA.
    Benefits - Non migrating antistatic provides antistatic properties rapidly and constantly over time.
    - Independent from humidity of environment.
    - Color of treated plastic remains unchanged.
    Dosage 10 − 30% depending on requirement properties, the polymer in use, part thickness and dosing ratio
    Remarks CESA®-stat PEA0420188-ZN is sensitive to moisture, opened bags should be immediately closed very tightly
    after use for further storing.
    In order to reuse remaining material, the vacuum dry at 60C for several hours is recommended.
    To avoid smoke formation, the suitable process temperature is 210C maximum.
    The product should be stored in a cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight.
