45 N Cocoon Shrug
45 N Cocoon Shrug
45 N Cocoon Shrug
Its time to snuggle up with this soft cocoon style shrug/sweater! It is stylish
enough to wear out and cozy enough to wear at home! The textured pattern
looks beautiful! It makes a lovely present. It works up fast and is easy to make
using single crochet, double crochet and front post double crochet. The size
can be easily adjusted and make it in any color of choice!
Material-
Yarn- any yarn of any material is okay. I have used DK light weight yarn.
Amount- 500 g of light weight yarn. If you use another weight you may need
600 g. (I have used a local acrylic-nylon yarn, yardage 275m per 100g, green)
Note- you can use any yarn you want suitable for your hook size just follow the
measurement in inches. Any weight can be used but pattern will become larger
or smaller depending on yarn and hook size.
Abbreviations-
ch= chain
st= stitch
sk= skip stitch
hk= hook
rep= repeat

Sewing-
Fold the body in half lengthwise, bringing last row to 1st row, with the WS
facing up. Match up stitches on sides. Place stitch markers where you want
armhole.
Sew the side closed till stitch markers with 20” of yarn left. Take a 20” piece of
yarn and sew the other side as well. Use any stitch (I have used whip stitch).
Weave in ends.
