Amazing Race Guidelines

General Guidelines:

 Each team will start from a particular station.


 The teams are only given 10 minutes to finish the task in each station.
 The teams will be scored accordingly.
 Each team will have 10 group values (wearable objects) worth 50 points. The
goal is to keep as much group values as possible.
 When the team fails at a particular station, they have to surrender 1 group value,
equivalent to 50 points.
 The remaining group values will be added upon tabulation of the final scores.
 The team may opt to consume their group values in exchange for foods and
drinks during dinner.
 Cheating will automatically disqualify the team on that particular station.
Pandarayuhan
Venue: HR Room
Facilitators: (2) Mariz Plomillo, Edmar Cerna
Guidelines: 1. The team will begin from a starting line and must cross and
pass through the other line without stepping on the
ground/floor.
2. To cross, the team will use chipboards to step on.
3. Chipboards provided will be N – 1, where N is the number of
players.
4. All players should cross the area successfully in order to stop
the timer.
5. When at least one player stepped on the ground, the team
has to start over with the first player.
6. The team’s score will be based on the duration of the game.

1 – 2 minutes 60
2:01 – 4 minutes 50
4:01 – 6 minutes 40
6:01 – 8 minutes 30
8:01 – 10 minutes 20
Materials: 1. Masking tape (2 inches)

Sigaw ng Pugad Lawin


Venue: MO Room
Facilitators: (2) Franz Kayl Algarme, Vince Lomocso
Guidelines: 1. The team will be given 6 minutes to answer as many as
possible.
2. One person will pick a paper from the bowl then act without
uttering words, and the remaining team members must guess
the right answer. (Charades)
3. No pointing of objects or persons.
4. The person to act will only be replaced by another if the team
guessed the correct answer, or if the team prefers to pass.
5. When the team passes, the topic cannot be used again.
6. The team must have at least 6 correct answers. If otherwise,
the team must surrender 1 group value.
Point System: Points
1 paper strip 10 points
Materials: 1. Strips of paper with topic (100 topics) – c/o facilitators

Battle of Tirad Pass


Venue: Tennis Court
Facilitators: (3) Donieza Bolaño, Christine Anino, Kenneth Ryan Villegas
Guidelines: 1. All team members must form a line. All should wear blindfolds
except the first person.
2. Everyone should grasp the shoulder of the person at their
front. No one is allowed to break the chain or to let go.
3. No one is allowed to talk.
4. Starting point is outside the obstacle area so that no one can
see the pathway.
5. The team must go through the obstacles with the person in
front to lead the entire team.
6. Each violation will force the imposition of additional 10
seconds to the total time.
7. The team must successfully reach the end point.
8. Failure to finish on time would surrender 1 group value.

Bayanihan
Venue: Inside Quadrangle
Facilitators: (3) Dominic Genilo, Frenyelle Delima, Raphael Paragas
Guidelines: 1. Team members must lie supine on the floor with heads
pointing at alternating directions.
2. The first person must fill the tray with water as much as he or
she can and must pass the tray to the next until the last
person.
3. The last person must transfer the water from the tray to the
bottle.
4. The tray may be passed back to the first person to repeat the
process.
5. The team is only given 6 minutes to fill the bottle.
6. The team should fill the bottle at least on Level 2. Failure to
comply should surrender 1 group value.

Pagtitipon
Venue: Field beside Canteen
Facilitators: (3) Marianne Pleños, Charise Lomugot, Brian Kenneth Manalo
Guidelines: 1. All members will wear blindfolds.
2. Each will turn around 10 times with assistance of facilitators.
3. Each will be scattered across the area.
4. All members should be able to gather in one place in 5
minutes.
5. No one is allowed to talk or make a noise. Violation will lead to
additional 10 seconds to the total time.
6. Only 3 assigned players are allowed to clap whenever they
feel necessary. Each of them can only clap once.
7. Everyone however, can freely move and walk during the
entire duration.
8. The last person to clap is the basis of where everyone should
be able to gather.
9. It is only after 5 minutes are the players allowed to talk and
remove blindfolds.
10. The score will be based on the number of person who were
able to gather in one place.
11. At least 50% of the players should be in one place. If
otherwise, 1 group value will be surrendered.
Point System: Points

Para sa Katipunan
Venue: Volleyball Court
Facilitators: (3) Angelique Estocapio, Josie Padernal, Gabriel Kintanar
Guidelines: 1. 15 bowls with hidden food inside will be placed on a long
table.
2. The team is given 1 minute to decide and pick a bowl.
3. All members should open their bowls at the same time after
the cue of the facilitator.
4. When a player finishes the bowl/cup, he or she should scream
“Para sa Katipunan”
5. The timer will only stop when the last payer is finished with his
or her food.
6. Failure to finish all food on a given time will lead to a
confiscation of 1 group value.

Guidelines: 1. The team must pass through the strings going to the other
side of the area.
2. Players cannot touch the strings, even the clothing.
3. Players can strategize such as carrying their co-players.
4. Players can go at the same time or one-by-one depending on
their strategy.
5. The time stops with the last player going out of the stringed
area.
6. Failure to finish on time, will lead to 1 group value.

Guardia Civil

Guidelines: 1. Players will be paired. Extra players will be added to any
pairs.
2. Each person will be cuffed with tie box, and while be chained
to the other player.
3. All pairs must find a way to escape the tie.
4. No one is allowed to coach the other pairs.
5. Timer stops with the last pair to escape.
6. At least 50% of the pairs must escape. If otherwise, 1 group
value will be surrendered.

3:01 – 6 minutes 120
6:01 – 9 minutes 90
9:01 – 10 minutes 60
Materials: 1. Tie Box
God, Gold, Glory
Venue: Garden behind Finance
Facilitators: (2) Borge Rivera, Nadia Ali Baig
Guidelines: 1. Players will be paired. One will be blindfolded.
2. Blindfolded players will lie prone to the ground facing the
obstacle area.
3. All blindfolded players must crawl through simultaneously and
must find one coin each.
4. Players without blindfold must stand at the side of the area to
guide their partner. No one is allowed to go near the
blindfolded players.
5. Blindfolded players must learn to recognize the voice of their
partner amid the noise of other players.
6. The player can leave and remove the blindfold when they find
their coin.
7. Timer stops with the last pair to find a coin.
8. Failure to finish, will lead to surrendering one group value.

Pearl Harbor
Venue: LS Room

Guidelines: 1. On a long table, 15 empty cups are aligned with the first cup
having a Ping-Pong ball in it.
2. The first player has to fill the cup and pass the ball onto the
next cup by blowing. If the ball falls over, the player has to put
the ball back and blow again.
3. Players should switch every time the ball is passed.
4. Failure to finish on time would require 1 group value.

Spanish Inquisition
Venue: CEAT Kiosk

Guidelines: 1. The team will be asked a series of questions.
2. The team are given 15 seconds to answer each question.
3. Answers should be written on a whiteboard where spellings
should be correct.
4. Failure to reach 3 correct answers will have to surrender 1
group value.

Batas Militar
Venue: Dance Room
Facilitators: (2) Kate Kamid, Jamica Brana
Guidelines: 1. The team will be given a word.
2. All team members must pose upon the facilitators mark with
the pose being related to the word.
3. All members should have the same pose.
4. No one is allowed to talk.
5. Even if at least one member has a different pose, it will not be
counted as a point.
6. The team should have at least 1 word being synchronized. If
otherwise, one group value will be surrendered.
Point System: Time Points
1 synchronized pose 50 points
Materials: 1. List of words

Noli Me Tangere
Venue: CA 1
Facilitators: (2) Angelina Napila, Matthew Andrei Corpuz
Guidelines: 1. A rod is placed on a height with moderate level of difficulty.
2. Players will be paired with one person carrying the other
person back to back.
3. The person carrying the other player should pass through the
rod without the person on top touching the rod.
4. The team should have at least 5 pairs to have successfully
passed through the rod. If otherwise, one group value will be
confiscated.
Point System: Time Points
1 pair 50 points
Materials: 1. Two-meter stick/rod (1 pc)
2. Stand at both ends of stick.

Kapit Bisig
Venue: Jubilee Park (Big Cross)
Facilitators: (2) Neil Edwards, Patricia Delima
Guidelines: 1. The players form a circle hand in hand. No one is allowed to
let go.
2. One hula hoop will be placed on one person.
3. The hoop should go around and must come back to the
person of origin.
4. One full revolution is equivalent to 150 points.
5. The team should have at least 3 revolutions otherwise they
have to surrender 1 group value.
Point System: Time Points
1 revolution 150 points

Sugatang Katipunero
Venue: Side of Field @ Roxas
Facilitators: (2) Yssa Matias, Kristeen Yumang
Guidelines: 1. In order to go to the finish line, players must carry every first
person of the line and pass them to the end of the line.
2. All players are not allowed to stand but may sit or kneel in one
straight line when passing the person.
3. All players should cross the finish line successfully.
4. Failure to finish on time would require 1 group value.
