Study Plan for PhD

I am Ali Wajid (瓦吉德) from Pakistan. Currently, I am in China and doing my Master's

in Computer Science at Central South University, Changsha, Hunan. this is the final year
of my Master’s. I will graduate in July 2023. The CGPA of my master's degree program is
3.92 out of 4. My research direction is Information Security, Network Security, Image
Encryption, and Cryptography. I have submitted two articles to the SCI journal and
hopefully will be published soon. During my master's I work on a new scheme of image
encryption that combines multi-dimension chaotic maps. The main purpose of adding new
methods to encryption techniques is to perform highly secure encryption and decryption
within a very short time. The results of the experiments, security evaluations, and
comparisons with other works demonstrate that the suggested approach for encrypting
grayscale images performs well and requires the least amount of time.

In addition to most postgraduate students, I am a very involved participant in a variety of

extracurricular and curricular activities. In reality, I meet expectations and am recognized
among the top 40 students in my postgraduate class. When my honorable efforts are taken
into account, I continue to be highly competent and have achieved high marks on all
admission exams administered by the academic institution where I received my schooling.
My interaction with computers started with programming language during my school days
where I could create various web pages and convert PSD into HTML. I gradually moved
to the ‘BASIC’ language and functionalities of computers. There was something about
computers and programming that always attracted my interest. In High School, I worked
on C and Visual Basic. After my higher secondary, I was determined to secure for myself
a position in the Information Technology field, which deals with the areas of Computer
Science. To accomplish this I got admission to the Bachelor of Computer Science in
Karakoram International University (KIU) Gilgit, Pakistan. This interest kept growing and
made me opt for Computer Science as my discipline in my undergraduate course in
Bachelor of Technology. In my Final year project, I worked with the Head of the
Department of Computer Science of KIU who is also my project Supervisor. In this project,
I have to develop a “3D Building Models of KIU”. The proposed project gives a
comparative study of well-known 3D city modeling methodologies based on data
acquisition and data processing methods. This assessment aims to find the optimal
methodology to build the 3D data set of Gilgit City and model the city in 3D.

MY PERSONALITY

By nature, I am an energetic and socially active person with a friendly attitude, a good
speaker indeed who is blessed with many friends. I always possess a profound sight into
the reality of life thus approaching people with a positive mind and attitude and always
proving to be cooperative and supportive with honest determination and true dedication. In
addition, I always feel blissful and privileged to meet and greet people belonging to
different backgrounds and cultures. Because such meetings are always beneficial and
important for the future in making new things easy to cope with whether one works or
studies in his own country or outside the country in a different context.

Computer Science is my passion

We are currently in the midst of a technological and computing revolution that will
drastically change our lives and potentially redefine what it means to be a human. I am
very excited at the prospect of devoting my long-term career to such a dynamic, fast-
advancing, and newly-born field. I have never been the only one to struggle for survival
but have always sought to try and stand ahead in every facet of my life. Since school, I
have believed in hard work and that little bit of extra effort, which has helped me realize
my goals at every stage. In the ever-changing world of Computers, where each new day
sees a spate of new concepts and applications, I want to attain the highest level of education
and place myself in line with opportunities. My fundamental reason for wanting to pursue
Ph.D. in Computer Science is my passion to reach the zenith in my chosen field of study
and attain perfection in anything I undertake.

FUTURE PLAN

I have obtained information about the facilities and courses after a detailed study of
university websites and have decided to apply to the CSU for my Ph.D. studies. I have
learned that professor SHI engaged in research that is related to my field of interest who
have higest deep knowledge in research area of Network Security. It will be an honour for
to me to work under his supersion. I Thank full to respected supervisor for providing me
an acceptance. Moreover Your university offers an invigorating environment that will give
me a platform to explore my interests and a definite direction for my goals. I resolve to
approach the program with enthusiasm and hard work and use the opportunity to advance
my learning optimally.

CHINA IS MY DESTINATION

China is my ideal country, it is an education-oriented, friendly country that supports higher

education in every possible manner without judgment of race and gender. Participating in
this program allows me to bring together all of my past experiences and amalgamate them
with this new and exciting opportunity. after all, I learned about China from my friends and
professors who had previously studied there as Master's and Ph.D. students, as well as from
reading books, watching the news, analyzing, and seeing the people. I am quite pleased by
how these people have demonstrated their commitment to their profession and how,
through genuine efforts, they have made China a successful model for other developing or
third-world nations. The well-established and quickly expanding economy, technological
innovation, and China's top-ranked educational institutions with a strong reputation inspire
considerable desire in professionals and students for improved job prospects. Therefore,
such positivity has increased my confidence even more, and I am really happy with the
choice I made. In addition, China has a diversified culture, hospitable locals, and a top-
notch educational system. China is presently the second-most popular country for overseas
students to study for their doctorates, which is why I chose it. The reputation of the Chinese
educational system abroad is one of the main factors contributing to the strong demand for
undergraduates from China. It has one of the best living standards in the world. Students
may live and pay for their education considerably more affordably in China than in other
nations. It was quite simple for me to choose the ideal course and university for my doctoral
degree because there are so many different courses and degrees offered in China.
Furthermore, in my nation as well as many others throughout the world, Chinese degrees
are highly valued. Since China is so anti-racist, I believe that it would offer a healthy
environment for living and studying.
