STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
In the present time, the substantial growth in the field of Information Technology sparked in me
an interest to be a part of this ever-growing world of technology. During my Bachelor's program,
I learned the various fundamental concepts of Computer Science and Engineering with a knife-
edge practical approach which enlightened my perspective and gave me a reason to explore this
field.
I am a person driven with a lot of passion and determination, with a zeal to explore whatever is
taught. I believe in working hard and do whatever it takes to achieve my goals. This nature of
mine has helped me a lot to excel in my academics. As a self-taught programmer, I have sought
to always keep in mind the applicability and practicality of my programming ideas to everyday
life. I have also developed a passion for problem-solving right from an early age. For any person
to be strong, it's very important to get a perfect launch pad and that was my school. I have done
my schooling from Kindergarten to Grade 12 at a renowned school in Saudi Arabia namely
International Indian School Buraidah, where I was taught fundamentals of various subjects like
Maths, Physics, Chemistry, and other subjects too. The various competitions held in my school
helped me to gain the required knowledge and helped me to decide what to choose for further in
my career.
My family has always encouraged me to pursue my desired career with full-fledges and no ifs or
buts, and I have been given all the support to develop my talents and interests. After completion
of my schooling, there were many fields where I could enroll in, but I chose to Major in
Computer Science and Engineering through self-exploration habits of mine, and also under my
teacher's guidance as well as some piece of advice from my relatives. I have consistently been
amongst the good performers of my college where I secured a CGPA of 6.54 on 10. Upon
studying subjects namely Software Engineering, C Programming, Data Structures through C++,
JAVA, Operating Systems, Formal Language and Automata Theory, Mathematical Foundations
of Computer Sciences, Compiler Design, Database Management Systems, Python Programming,
Data Mining, Cryptography and Network Security, etc.., gave me more confidence and built a
strong base for my career in Computer Science.
During my early teens, I frequently used to browse the internet where I came across different
websites, where "Facebook" alluded to my vision. The way "Facebook" connected people
socially across the globe fascinated me to choose this program which will give me a broad
perspective of the IT field. Because of which I started to explore Full Stack Technologies like
Django, Spring, ReactJS, etc., which were in my undergraduate curriculum. I was chosen to
coordinate various events in my college due to my leadership skills. I was also chosen as the
Captain of my school and college basketball team for that reason.
The greatest choices require the strongest wills, and I am willing to travel a far distance from my
native place to gain the necessary advanced knowledge and skills which will drive my future
growth potential. It is always important to have in-depth knowledge as half knowledge is always
dangerous and the program which your esteemed university is offering will fulfill my remaining
half knowledge. I have built a strong foundation, upon which I am confident in developing a
solid career. Never giving up is one of the traits that has lead me to where I am today.
After thoroughly analyzing the Computer Science Master's program of your university, I have
developed an affinity towards your curriculum as it is aligned with my interest. Your university
provides the most modern and sophisticated types of equipment to work with which will upskill
me and also the intellectual environment at your university will make me realize my dreams of
exploring this subject. I believe that your university has a whole lot of eminent professors who
will guide me and would provide exciting opportunities to hone my skills and gain knowledge.
My aim in seeking admission to your university is to grab the exciting opportunities to enhance
my career in Computer Science and also in the research department. Your university has one of
the best Computer Science Departments which is composed of excellent research facilities and
your faculty as well. I would like to enroll in your Master's program i.e., Master's in Computer
Science. I assure you that, from day one you will find a disciplined and passionate student in me.
I believe that the key qualities for a student should be consistency, resilience, and perseverance
for quality research work. Once I get enrolled in your program, the journey ahead is a
challenging one, it may no doubt be arduous and demanding. The rigorous curriculum coupled
with a holistic emphasis on real-world programming challenges will allow me to build a strong
foundation in the field of Computer Science upon which I can further my understanding of the
field. I am looking forward to experiencing such emotions during my studies at your university.
Hence, I request that my application be considered for admission. I strongly feel that I can match
the high standards of your university and contribute fruitfully to the research endeavors at your
university.
