    Dear Barangay Captain [Barangay Captain Name],

    We are Architecture students at Technological institute of the Philippines, Quezon City, we are writing to
    formally request your permission to conduct an ecological profile of [Barangay Name]. This project is
    part of our Specialization 3: Special problems for urban and regional planning curriculum, which aims to
    provide us with firsthand experience in studying and understanding the local environment.

    Project Objectives:

    Our main objectives for this project are:

     To gather data on the different abiotic and biotic components of the barangay's ecosystem,
    including:
    o Topography and soil characteristics
    o Water resources and quality
    o Flora and fauna diversity
    o Land use patterns and human impact
     To analyze the collected data to identify environmental strengths and weaknesses.
     To develop recommendations for sustainable environmental management practices in the
    barangay
     To raise awareness among the community members about the importance of environmental
    conservation

    Project Duration and Methodology:

    We plan to conduct the ecological profile over a period of 14 weeks, starting on January 19, 2024, and
    ending on [End Date]. During this time, we will be using a variety of research methods, including:

     Field observations and data collection


     Interviews with barangay residents
     Review of existing literature and data sources
     Mapping and spatial analysis

    We assure you that we will conduct our research in a respectful and responsible manner, minimizing any
