PROTECTION PRE-ASSESSMENT (CY 2022 & CY 2023)

Please be informed that there will be a BARANGAY SEAL OF GOOD LOCAL GOVERNANCE
(SGLG) SOCIAL PROTECTION PRE-ASSESSMENT to be conducted by the Municipal Local
Government Operations Officer, ENGR. MARITES A. BALEROS and to be assisted by the Municipal
Social Welfare and Development Office, this FRIDAY, JANUARY 12, 2024, at 8:30 in the morning at the
LIGA Hall, LGU Babatngon, Leyte. Kindly, bring your Barangay MOVs for SOCIAL PROTECTION.

As such, your presence is highly expected.

POST ACTIVITY REPORT
ACTIVITY: 30TH NATIONAL CHILDREN’S MONTH CELEBRATION
DATE: November 25, 2022
VENUE: Municipal Gymnasium

REPORT SUMMARY

I.OBJECTIVES OF THE ACTIVITY:


The conduct of this activity aims to:
1. To enhance public attention and sensitization towards children’s rights.
2. To encourage children to be involved in community activities.
3. To recognize the importance of children in the society.

II.HIGHLIGHTS OF THE ACTIVITY:


The highlight of the activity are as follows:

 The activity started with the parade of day care children with their parents, day care workers,
escorted with BFP and PNP Personnel together with the MDRRMO rescue volunteers.
 The Local State of Children Report was delivered by the Municipal Mayor Hon. Eleonor B.
Lugnasin, she expressed the Local Government Unit support in celebrating the 30 th National
Children’s Month 2022. She mentioned the achievements of the LGU were children have a
vital role. She also put an emphasis on the LGU’s plans for children in the municipality.
 The day care children showed their different talents by showcasing through dancing, singing
and declamation.
 The 26 day care workers also showed their talent through a dance presentation.
 The Municipal Social Welfare and Development Officer, Ms. Jeshella E. Roxas had given her
closing message as she thanked the children and their parents, the day care teachers, the
barangay officials, LGU Officials, the Municipal Mayor and everyone behind the success of the
activity.
 The activity ended with a hearty lunch meal for all the day care children.
