Narrative Report
We kicked off this cool thing called the Drop Everything and Read (DEAR) program.
The idea was simple: let's make reading not just a school thing but a fun, regular
habit for everyone. This report is all about how it went down, what we did, and the
good vibes it brought.
DEAR wasn't just about hitting the books; it was about falling in love with them.
We wanted to go beyond the usual reading-for-school routine and create a spot
where everyone—students and teachers alike—could just enjoy a good read. The
goal was to make reading feel like a mini escape, you know?
Students got into the groove, even the ones who weren't so keen on reading. We
noticed more buzz during DEAR time, and attitudes towards reading shifted in a
positive way. Plus, it became this communal experience where we all shared our
reading finds and favorites.
Of course, there were some challenges. Scheduling got a bit tricky, and we realized
we needed to keep tweaking things. Also, we wanted to keep things fresh, so we're
on a mission to bring in even more exciting reading material.
DEAR turned out to be a game-changer. It wasn't just about reading; it was about
creating a vibe, a community of book lovers. The positive changes we saw were
pretty awesome. We're keeping an eye on how it goes and making sure DEAR stays
as awesome as it started.
