Pray For An Outstanding 2024

 INTRODUCTION

I am forever grateful for the gift of

comprehension of scripture and lifting prayer
points from scriptures. The inspiration of 24
Prayer Points for 2024 was birthed as we
crossed into 2024.

2024 is a unique and peculiar year; it is my

prayer that as you pray with these prayer points,
our God that hears prayers shall hear your
prayers and grant you that which you ask of
Him in Jesus’ name.

Remember, pray in Faith, and with Faith, and

believe with all your heart that God will grant
you your petitions in Jesus’ name.

 A SUMMARY ON PRAYER

From ages past, those who understood the benefits of prayer

prayed and got amazing results. Praying has always worked and
will continue to work. The Bible is filled with examples of people
who prayed and got results.

The scripture says in Matthew 7:7 ‘Ask, and it shall be given

you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened
unto you:’ verse eight says ‘For every one that asketh
receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that
knocketh it shall be opened.’

This is exactly the summary of engaging in prayer, diligence in

prayer and the result of prayer. When you ask the way you ought,
you shall be given, which interpretes that God will give the
answer to your request. This is the same when you seek. (What
we do when we pray is seek the face of God, seek mercy, seek His
help, seek His consent and approval). May God answer you when
you ask Him. May He respond when you seek Him and may He
open when you knock.

Thousands of books have been written about prayer, what it is,

how we ought to pray, what happens when we pray and how God
responds. This book is not so much a how-to prayer book that
attempts to answer every question the reader may have about
prayer but rather gives the reader a direction or focus for prayer.
 Over the years the Holy Spirit has taught me how to read
and understand scriptures. In understanding scriptures, I
extract out of scriptures prayer focus otherwise known as
prayer points. This book is one of the rich compilations of
prayer points the Holy Spirit inspired me to put together. It
is my utmost belief that as you pray with these prayer
points, powerful testimonies shall be recorded in Jesus’
name.

Everyday all over the world, believers continue to pray and

get powerful results. I trust in the Lord that answers
prayers that as you pray this year 2024, like never before,
God Almighty shall answer you and your joy shall be full in
Jesus' name.
 WHAT IS PRAYER?

I define prayer as communicating with God our Father,

Our Lord, our Maker, our Creator. When we communicate
with someone, we speak to the person and the person
speaks back to us.

I grew up with the knowledge that there is something

called prayer; My parents prayed, prayers were said at the
dining table, and I attended a school where we observed
Mass (service) before classes started. In a sense, people
have always prayed.

Ps 2:8 says “Ask of me, and I shall give [thee] the

heathen [for] thine inheritance, and the uttermost
parts of the earth [for] thy possession.” Ask here means
pray to me.

Jeremiah 33:3 says “Call unto me, and I will answer thee,
and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou
knowest not.” Call unto also means pray to me.
 WHAT IS PRAYER?

I have taught people over the years that prayer does not need
to be complicated. God is our father, and the same way we
speak to an earthly parent, we can also speak to our God.
Though God is NOT a man, He does not see like man sees,
neither does He act like man.

In Matt 11:28, Jesus said “Come unto me, all [ye] that
labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” God
wants us to come to Him, pour our heart out to Him, He said
we should come to Him, so get yourself together and get
praying.

There is no situation that you cannot take to God in Prayer,

there is no need you cannot ask God to meet; there is no door,
no matter who has locked, that prayers cannot open; and
there is no situation that prayer cannot turn around.
 HOW SHOULD WE PRAY?

In Matt 6:5 – 15, Jesus gives us a tutorial on how to pray.

In Verse 5 (And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the

hypocrites [are]: for they love to pray standing in the
synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be
seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.),
Jesus says when we pray, we should NOT pray with wrong motives.
Which means we should pray to God our father with a clear heart.

Verse 6 “But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet,
and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is
in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward
thee openly.”

Enter into thy closet when thou hast shut the door means, your
prayer is between you and your father. Shut the door against all
distractions and everything that can affect your concentration.

Another scripture that sheds light on how we should pray is 1 John

5:14 – 15

14 says “And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if

we ask anything according to his will, he heareth us:” 15 “And
if we know that he hears us, whatsoever we ask, we know that
we have the petitions that we desired of him.”

Come boldly to the throne of Grace!

 GOD ANSWERS PRAYERS

When believers pray, many pray, but do not pray with belief.

God answers prayers. I have experienced it, heard amazing

testimonies and yours will not be an exception.

In Luke 18, Jesus spoke about prayer, verse one says ‘And he
spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought
always to pray, and not to faint;’

● We should pray always.

● We should pray continuously.
● We should pray and not give up.
● Even when ‘it seems’ we have not seen the answers we
should continue to pray.

What motivates me to pray? I have concluded within me that

everything that I want, need, require and aspire to have ALL
comes from God. For this reason, I say to myself: ‘He is my
only source,’ and if He says I ask as he says I should ask, He
says I should ask until my joy is full. Jh 16:24 ‘Hitherto have
ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive,
that your JOY may be FULL.
 As you continue to pray, be assured that God will send
you an answer, it may be:
● Wait
● It will come in time
● Get ready!
● I am at work
● It is done

Luke 18 verse 7 says ‘And shall not God avenge his

own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though
he bear long with them?’

Jesus is saying here that God will answer, don’t give up,
don’t give in - PRAY

Prayer points or prayer focus are guides to help you pray.

Remember Matt 6 when Jesus said “when you pray…”

I have heard people ask: ‘I can’t pray for a long time, what will
I be praying about?’

You have loads of things to pray about. If you begin to write

what you need right now and what you are looking to
achieve, I am certain several pages will be filled up quickly.
This is the meaning of prayer focus – when you have things
written out, it becomes a focus of prayer.

Always start your time of prayer by praising God. Is 43:21

says ‘This people have I formed for myself; they shall
shew forth my praise.’ Look around you; God has been good
and faithful. You are still alive. Praise Him for who He is;
praise Him for His strength, His ability, His goodness, His
loving kindness, and His tender mercies. Praise Him because
there is none-else like Him, no one does what He does, none
can compare unto Him. He is God, He has always been, He
created ALL things, in Him and through Him were ALL
things made.

Mighty is His name!

 HOW DO YOU USE 24 PRAYER POINTS FOR 2024

After you have praised, then switch to thanksgiving. Ps

116:12 says ‘What shall I render unto the LORD for all his
benefits toward me?’ The truth is God has been good to us
ALL. Some might say ‘things have been rough’, ‘it's been
challenging’, ‘it's been difficult’, but let's take some time to
consider what He has done. Can we number His goodness
towards us? Are they not numerous? Where do we start from?

Thank Him for what He has done, and what He is doing. He

has sustained you, kept you, preserved you, and helped you.
Above all, you are still alive because of Him – yes, you are still
alive because of Him (remember He is the giver of life)!

After you have finished thanking Him adequately, you

begin to pray. Below is an example
Interview Favour –

Father, there is nothing You cannot do. Lord, I ask that as I go for
the interview today, You go ahead of me. Let everything that may
not work in my favour be removed from my path in Jesus’ name.

Lord, You are the Alpha, You are the Omega - You know the end
from the beginning, help me Lord, go ahead of me. Lord, remove
everything that may hinder me; disfavour me Lord, and let all
things you have created work together for my good today.

Lord, let me receive favour from everyone that sees me. My

Father, arise and favour me today. Father, you are my source, my
helper – Lord, help me today.

Lord, put words that my interviewers want to hear in my mouth;

Father, grant me wisdom today, and Lord, let me understand
what I am asked and reply as expected in Jesus’ name.

Father, let me return rejoicing. Lord, I thank You in advance for

hearing me; thank You for helping me, and thank you for making
a way for me. Father, thank you in Jesus’ name.

That’s just an example of how I will pray. God hears and He will
hear you in Jesus’ name.
 ARE YOU READY TO PRAY?

The stage is set.

All the prayer points in this book were not copied from
anywhere else but were inspired by the Holy Spirit. By the
grace of God, He has given me a unique ability to extract
prayers from scriptures, day-to-day experiences, and several
true-to-life situations. I pray that you will indeed be inspired
by these prayer points, and you will pray like you have never
prayed before.

Always finish your prayers by thanking God for

answering your prayers in the name of Jesus.

I pray that as you use this prayer focus book, you will have
outstanding and overflowing testimonies in Jesus’ name.
24 Prayer Points for 2024

Num 24:24
And ships shall come from the coast of Chittim,
and shall afflict Asshur, and shall afflict Eber,
and he also shall perish for ever.

PP1. O Lord this Year, your Word to us is Visible Difference;

affliction shall not be our portion. O Lord, help us; let us
not enter into any form affliction of the Body, Soul and
Spirit in Jesus’ name.

Jos 24:24
And the people said unto Joshua, The LORD our God
will we serve, and his voice will we obey.

PP2. Father, I thank You for the privilege of serving You. I

thank You for the Grace to serve You, and I thank You for
the Blessings of serving You. Thank You Lord!
2 Sam 24:24
And the king said unto Araunah, Nay; but I will surely buy it of
thee at a price: neither will I offer burnt offerings unto the LORD
my God of that which doth cost me nothing. So David bought the
threshing floor and the oxen for fifty shekels of silver.

PP3. This year 2024, I shall have money to meet my needs and the
needs of my family. My income this year shall be Better and Bigger
than last year in Jesus’ name.

PP4. This year 2024, I pray for deeper clarity and understanding of
Giving and being a Blessings in my journey of life in Jesus’ name.

PP5. The earth is the Lord’s, and the fullness thereof. This year 2024,
Father please grant me favour to acquire lands, and grant me Grace
to build in Jesus’ name.

2 Chr 24:24
For the army of the Syrians came with a small company of
men,
and the LORD delivered a very great host into their hand,
because they had forsaken the LORD God of their fathers.
So they executed judgement against Joash.

PP6. This year, Father PLEASE Help me! Let my diligent efforts earn
me Vast returns; let my consistent labour open Great and Mighty
Doors unto me in Jesus’ name.

PP7. A man can plough all day and sow all day but increase is from
God, Father this year, grant me dimensions of increase that comes
alone from You in Jesus’ name.
Job 24:24
They are exalted for a little while,
but are gone and brought low; they are taken out of the
way as all other, and cut off as the tops of the ears of corn.

PP8. Father, I ask for lasting success in my endeavours; my successes

shall not be aborted. For me and my household, ours shall be
consistent achievements in Jesus’ name.

PP9. O Lord, I put ALL that I have and will acquire in your able care.
Spoilers shall not locate my home, my career and my business in
Jesus’ name.

PP10. Father, I pray by and through your Mercies, that wherever I

have suffered affliction in the past, affliction shall not arise again
in Jesus’ name.

Prov 24:24
He that saith unto the wicked, Thou art righteous;
him shall the people curse, nations shall abhor him:

PP11. My life and that of my family is in your hands. Father, PLEASE

do not allow the wicked to exact over us this year in Jesus’ name.

PP12. The wicked want to attack, the wicked want to afflict; Father
PLEASE let every effort of the wicked directed at me and my
household fail all through this year in Jesus’ name.
Ex 24:24
Thus Ezekiel is unto you a sign: according to all that
he hath done shall ye do: and when this cometh,
ye shall know that I am the Lord GOD.

PP13. Father this year, by and through your Grace, my household and I
shall fulfil your Will for our lives in Jesus’ name.

PP14. I am Blessed to be a Blessing! This year 2024, I shall be a Blessing

like never before in Jesus’ name.

PP15 Father, PLEASE this year, let nothing hinder me from fulfilling your
will, and let nothing block my pathway of being a Blessing to everyone
the Lord has assigned to my destiny in Jesus’ name.

Matt 24:24
For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall
shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible,
they shall deceive the very elect.

PP16. Father, PLEASE help me this year like never before to know Your
Word and Your purpose for my life in Jesus’ name.

PP17. Father, your Word says ‘The just shall live by Faith’; PLEASE this
year, help me to be resolute in your Word and not be confused in
Jesus’ name.

PP18. Father, your Word says: ‘be anxious for nothing’; Father, PLEASE
help me this year, that fear not sway me from the path of your Will for
my life in Jesus’ name.
 PP19. According to Psalm 92:12-13, this year 2024, I shall be well planted
in the house of God; I shall grow like a cedar and I shall flourish in the
courts of my God in Jesus’ name.

Lk 24:24
And certain of them which were with us went to the sepulchre, and
found it even so as the women had said: but him they saw not.

PP20. On that day the sepulchre was empty because the Word of God
CAME TO PASS – Father, this year 2024, let every aspect of my life be
a testimony of your Power in Jesus’ name.

PP21. By the Grace of God, it shall come to Pass – 2024 shall be the Best
Year I have ever lived! It shall come to pass – from January to
December – my Joy and that of my household shall be FULL in Jesus’
name.

Acts 24:24
And after certain days, when Felix came with his wife Drusilla, who
was a Jewess, he sent for Paul, and heard him concerning the faith
in Christ.

PP22. Father this year 2024, I ask for Grace to grow more and more in
Faith in Jesus’ name.

PP23. With Faith comes Great Rewards; this year I pray that my Faith
shall not fail and I shall see Great Results of Faith in Jesus’ name.
PP24. Jesus said: ‘be it unto you according to your Faith’ and lives were
transformed; This year 2024 shall indeed be my year of Visible
Difference in Jesus’ name.
