Job Title: Python Developer for SOAR Incident and Response Connectors

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Python Developer to join our dynamic team, focusing on the
development of SOAR incident connectors and response-based connectors. In this role, you will be
instrumental in automating security responses and streamlining incident management processes.
Your expertise in Python programming and your understanding of cybersecurity frameworks will
contribute significantly to our efforts in enhancing our cyber defense capabilities.

Roles and Responsibilities:

SOAR Incident Connector Development:

● Design and develop SOAR incident connectors to integrate various cybersecurity tools and
platforms.
● Work on automating incident detection and response workflows.
● Collaborate with cybersecurity analysts to understand requirements and implement
solutions that enhance incident response capabilities.
Response-Based Connector Development:
● Develop and maintain response-based connectors to automate actions based on specific
security incidents.
● Ensure connectors are scalable, efficient, and secure, supporting various security protocols
and standards.
● Continuously update and improve connectors in response to evolving cyber threats and
changing business requirements.
Documentation and Reporting:
● Document all development processes, connector configurations, and automation workflows.
● Create comprehensive and user-friendly documentation for end-users and IT staff.
● Report on development progress and challenges to the project manager and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. (Master's

degree may be preferred for some positions.)
● Proven experience as a Python Developer, with a strong portfolio of previous projects.
● Proficiency in Python and its libraries/frameworks such as Flask, and FastAPI.
● Strong knowledge of Pandas for data manipulation and analysis.
● Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases.
● Knowledge of software development best practices, including code reviews, version control,
and testing methodologies.
● Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
● Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
● Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization (e.g.,
Docker) may be a plus.
● Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD pipelines, automation, etc.) is
advantageous.
● Knowledge of networking and cybersecurity is a plus.
