    Grade Ten 2022-2023

    Dear Parent/Guardian,

    As an extension of the regular literacy program, students are invited to participate


    in JAD-IS Spelling Bee. This program will help to develop your child’s vocabulary,
    learn new word definitions, and be able to improve their reading
    comprehension, reasoning and public speaking skills. Participation is voluntary
    and extracurricular. Students who join will be supported by their teachers and
    mentors, we will need a commitment from home to encourage some study time
    on a regular basis.
    -The Spelling Bee Challenge will be held during the fourth quarter.
    -The contestants are required to study the spelling words and challenging words
    from now.
    -For extra challenging words, kindly read the selected story from JAD-IS
    E-library (The Adventures of Tom Sawyer) https://rb.gy/xmb2e9
    Every child will receive participation certificate and other consolation prizes. The 1st,
    2nd and 3rd place winners will receive valuable prizes.
