The document discusses the specifications of a waste water treatment plant for a ship with 15 persons onboard. It details the treatment capacity, treatment process, components included, and provides bank account information.

The treatment process involves maceration, microflotation, and UV disinfection. It works without the need for chemicals or activate sludge.

This treatment plant has a simpler design that does not require pre-filtration, screens or membranes. Its process is unaffected by varying hydraulic loads and produces minimal sludge. It also has a smaller ventilation requirement than other plants.

CAPACITY CALCULATION
Persons on board: 15 Resultant wastewater man/day: 175l Total volume 2.625l We assume that the discharge of black water will be realised through gravity flush (around 10 litres of water per flush). In case of vacuum pumps or low flush toilets should be foreseen the total amount of sewage would decrease. Please advice. HL-CONT PLUS 02 slim has a peak load of 216 l/h, BOD5 load 2,9 kg/day. With these values the daily running time of the plant is 12 hours The required working volume in the holding tank between high level alarm and stop plant is 600 litres.

SPECIFICATION

OPERATIONAL DESCRIPTION
The ship shall provide two waste tanks: one sewage tank and one sludge tank. All black and grey water shall be collected inside the ships sewage tank. Grey water should contain no fats, oils or grease. A grease separator is required which is no Hamann scope of supply. The Hamann sewage treatment plant requires input from the level sensor in the ships sewage tank and the level sensor in the ships sludge tank. These shall be 420 mA electrical signals. If you wish, we may provide optional level sensors within our scope of supply. The HL Cont PLUS slim is a skid-mounted physical sewage treatment system consisting of: Maceration Microflotation UV disinfection The feed pump and the macerator can be placed modular and have a suction height of 2.5 mWC. The feed pump is a progressive cavity design; therefore dry running protection water is required. If required HAMANN AG can assemble optionally the skit for horizontal or vertical mounting. This is including a base frame in black steel and piping in stainless steel. If pressurized seawater of 1 3 bar is not available, we may supply an optional non-self priming process water pump. The treatment plant can be configured with an integrated discharge function. This feature can be used to discharge the contents of the sewage tank (or sludge tank) without treatment. As an option, we may provide a fully integrated discharge pump.

The HL- Cont PLUS slim Advantages

Our treatment plant does not require the use of a complicated pre-filtration system, screens or membranes to treat sewage; therefore our system is simpler and more cost effective for the owner. Our treatment process does not require activate sludge, therefore there is no risk of performance failure due to toxic shock of incoming detergents or cleaning agents. Our process is constant, continuous and unaffected by varying hydraulic loads. Our treatment process does not use any chemicals, not for the treatment process nor for cleaning purposes. The generation of sludge is kept at an absolute minimum of 3-5%. Most treatment plants require a very large diameter ventilation connection. Our treatment plant ventilation pipe requirement is only 1-inch (25 mm).
