    Public Health Statement of Purpose ___________ University

    I am writing this to express my unwavering commitment to advancing public health and my


    profound aspiration to pursue a Master’s degree in Public Health. As an aspiring healthcare
    professional, while I was pursuing my undergraduate degree in Medical Laboratory
    Technology, I had many opportunities such as medical camps and health check-up
    programmes in rural and urban areas where I participated actively. Moreover, as I
    researched I came to know more and more about Public Health and realised that a Master's
    in Public Health (MPH) offers a versatile and impactful educational journey, preparing
    individuals to address global health challenges and prevent them to make a positive and
    lasting impact on communities well-being. These experiences sparked my interest in Public
    Health as they made me recognize about the difference which public health professionals
    could make on a large scale for the better health of society.
    My educational journey embarked with my Secondary school in 2018 where I Scored 54.6 %
    in CBSE board which continued with my Higher Secondary studies in 2019 where I attained
    72.8 %. Building upon this foundation, I pursued my vocational degree which was Bachelor’s
    in Medical Laboratory Technology where I scored 6.8 GPA and successfully completed it in
    year 2023. Through the completion of my bachelor’s degree, I volunteered in many social
    work programmes and medical camps where I helped my seniors as well as epidemiologists
    and Public Health officers. Working with those officers who contributed on a large scale into
    the society to make sure about the healthy living of everyone influenced me in a positive way
    and boosted my interest in the field of public health.
    After taking my first job in __________________________, I worked as a Medical Laboratory
    Technologist. As a Laboratory Technologist I did not only diagnose and treated my patients,
    but also I promoted Public Health education through free check-up and awareness
    programmes which were conducted by the Laboratory. Not only this, I also took many
    initiatives parallelly and volunteered in a local group which was aimed to spread awareness
    for health and safety in undeveloped areas of the city.
    I finally decided to gain deeper knowledge by pursuing a Master’s degree in Public Health
    outside the country as I not only want to further develop my knowledge, but I also seek global
    exposure, which can contribute to my professional growth. I want to pursue my further
    studies in the U.K. as it is well known for its high-quality education, healthcare system, and
    technological advancements. Ultimately, I aim to leverage this master's experience as a
    stepping stone towards my future goal of pursuing a Ph.D. in Public Health in the U.K. This
    academic pursuit aligns with my vision of making significant contributions to the field and
    implementing learned insights effectively upon my return to enhance the public health sector
    in my home country.
    As I decided on my destination for studies, I started researching the institutes where I came
    across the _______________University and found out my course of interest. Researching
    more about the university, I found student’s clubs and society such as (Societies and club’s
    names) and more, and I am very excited to serve to the university and the country which will
    also help me in making new connections and get experiences. I also came to know about the
    facilities which are provided in the university with the high standards of education. These
    made me strongly decide to secure admission to the _____________university. In addition to
    that, with the knowledge and skills gained from the Masters of public health offered by
    ___________University, I believe that I will be able to step up into the professional world
    more confidently. However, after gaining the Ph.D. degree with the core practical skills, I

    would like to grow my career in Public Health by planning strategies, implementing them and
    working to ensure better and healthy life for all the communities. Being a part of this
    university will be a great opportunity for me to grow as a Healthcare professional. I am eager
    to join Masters of Public Health at the ________________University.
    In conclusion, my journey from a Medical Laboratory Technologist to an aspiring public health
    advocate has been shaped by hands-on experiences, continuous learning, and dedication to
    healthcare enhancement. The fusion of my academic background and practical engagement
    in rural and urban health camps has fortified my resolve to pursue a Master’s in Public Health
    at _______________ University. Its esteemed academic offerings, vibrant student
    community, and commitment in educational excellence make it my ideal destination.
    Equipped with knowledge and skills from this program, I am eager join Ph.D. programme and
    contribute to public health after its completion, employing learned strategies and initiatives,
    ultimately striving towards a healthier and more equitable society. Joining ____________City
    University would mark a pivotal milestone in my professional growth and serve as a platform
    to translate global learning into tangible improvements within my home country's healthcare
    landscape.
