FYP 1 Guidelines
1. Project Title Final Year Project

Students which are enrolled with superior university in the


2. Project description program of bachelors of business administration in superior
business school is required to complete a design challenge as a
final year project in final year of their studies, students can select
one of the three provided streams by Superior business school.

1) Design Challenge
2) Start-up
3) Scale-up

Every student undertaking the Design Challenge stream will be


required to complete the project under the supervision of a
Superior business school academic staff (Teacher/ Design Coach)
or an external supervisor from the industry as the case may be.

3. Time Duration 6 months

4. Description of the tasks Evidence

Task 1: Internship Certificate:


Attach the scanned copy of your (original) Internship
Completion certificate provided by the organization. It
should be signed and stamped by the authorized person/ Internship Certificate
Company.

Task 2: Executive Summary:


Executive summary previews every section of the report in a
Final Year Project Report
short form. It can be called as micro image of the report. It
helps the reader to get a quick glance at the report before
reading it in detail. Everything important that you have
done, discovered and concluded should be mentioned but
briefly and concisely.

Task 3: Organizational Overview:


It should contain:
Final Year Project Report
 Brief history
 Introduction of the organization
 Policy of the organization
 Competitors
 Vision
 Mission
 Customer & Competitor Analysis

Task 4: Organizational Structure:


Hierarchy of the organization along with departmental
activities delegated towards achieving of the overall Final Year Project Report
organizational goal. It should cover the following
points:
 Organizational Hierarchy chart
 Number of employees
 Main offices
 Introduction of all the departments
 Comments on the organizational structure
Task 5: Internship Plan:
Tasks assigned and executed with professional learning

 A brief introduction of the branch/ area office of the


organization where you did your internship
 Starting and ending dates of your internship
 Names of the departments in which you got training
and the duration of your training.
Task 6: Work Sample & Tasks Performed:
 Detailed description of the operations/activities
performed by the department(s) you worked in.
 Detailed description of the task(s) assigned to you Work Samples Evidence
OR detailed description of the project assigned.
 Work Samples (word limit for this section is not
specified as it depends on the nature of work
sample)
 Compile at least 2 samples of your work during your
internship. Some examples of work samples
include: news stories, articles, interviews,
spreadsheets, log sheets, correspondence, videos,
CDs with audio or visual clips, photos, layouts, press
releases, media lists, speeches etc. Each work
sample should have a short description of your role
in that work sample or how you used the sample.
Task 7: Key Learning Skills:

Task 8: GAP Identification: Final Year Project Report

Submission of finding, summarizing the most critical


factor and outcome of the assign project. Suggestion
and best course of actions for further improvement.
