History and Importance of Quran

Hadith

Communal
None of you believes until he likes for his brother what he likes for
himself.

‘I and the man who brings up an orphan will be in paradise like this.’
And he pointed with his two fingers,
the index finger and the middle finger.

May God show mercy to a man who is kindly when he sells, when
he buys, and when he demands his money back.

God will not show mercy to him who does not show mercy to
others.

Individual
He who studies the Qur’an is like the owner of tethered camels. If
he attends to them he will keep hold of them, but if he lets them
loose they will go away.

The world is the believer’s prison and the unbeliever’s paradise.

God does not look at your forms and your possessions, but he
looks at your hearts and your deeds.

No one eats better food than that which he eats out of the work of
his hand.

A man asked the Messenger of Allah (PBUH): Do you think that if I

perform the obligatory prayers, fast in
Ramadan, treat as lawful that which is lawful and treat as forbidden
that which is forbidden, and do nothing further, I shall enter
paradise? He said: Yes.

History and Imp

“Pray as you have seen me offering prayer”
My ummah will divide into 73 sects,
the Quran says, “The man and woman who commit Zinaa, flog
each of them with one hundred lashes.”

‘My community will never agree upon an error’..

Hadith Qudsi is the content/idea of Allah which was directly

revealed to Holy Prophet (PBUH) and he conveyed it to
Ummah in his own words, for example:
When Allah decreed the Creation He pledged Himself by writing in
His book which is laid down with Him: My
mercy prevails over my wrath. [Muslim]
“Fasting is for me and I shall compensate it.”

Articles of Faith
O you who believe! Believe in Allah, His Messengers, His Books,
His Angels and the Last Day and who do not believe has gone far
astray.
“Say he is Allah the one and only”
“He begets not; nor is He begotten”
"If there were within the heavens and earth gods besides Allah, they would have been
ruined.
“We do worship you, and your aid we seek”
Quran says, “To ascribe partners unto Him is a
tremendous wrong”
“How can he
have a son when he has no wife”
Verily, shirk is the greatest of all sins
Prophet (saw) said: “Seventy thousand angels enter it
every day and never have the chance to reenter it again.”
The Holy Quran says: “Who (Allah) made the angels with
wings, two or three or four.”
Allah asked questions from Adam and angels, so Adam gave the
answers and angels said: “Glorified are You, we have no knowledge
except
what you have taught us, Verily it is you, The All Knower, All Wise.”
The Holy Quran says: “(Remember) when you sought help
of your Lord and He answered you (saying): “I will help you with a
thousands of the angels ranks on ranks.”b of badr

“Every nation was sent a Rasool. Once their Rasool came, judgment
was
passed between them with all fairness and they were not wronged
in the
least” (10:47) — Al Yunus.
✓ The Holy Quran says, “And there is not a nation, but a warner has
passed along
them.” [35: 24]

“We never sent a messenger save with the

language of his folk.” [14: 4]

Indeed We sent messengers before you and We appointed for them

Surah
Hajj “Allah will raise those who are in graves”.

which we have provided for you, before a Day comes when there will

no bargaining, nor friendship, nor intercession.”
“Verily, the first thing Allah created was
the pen. He said to it: ‘Write.’ It replied: ‘My Lord, what should I
write?’ So He said: ‘Write all that will occur and all that has
occurred.’So in that hour, everything that will occur until the Day of
Recompense was recorded.”
The Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) said: “A humble prayer (Du’a) can
even alter your destinies”

next year is given to the angels in

the night of power and they accurately implement it. The Holy Quran
says,

“Angels and the spirit descend in this night with the permission of
their
Lord with all decrees.” [97: 4]

Allah says, “Man can have nothing but what he strives

for.” [53: 39].

Jihad
“The greatest Jihad is to fight against the evil passion of oneself”

“To those against whom war is made, permission is given (to fight)
because they are wronged and Verily Allah is most Powerful for
their aid.”
(22:39) Al-Hajj.

Hadis
The Holy Prophet (saw) said: “There is no explanation (for prayer)
except the prayer itself.”

Cleanliness is half of faith hadis

“If I had not found it hard for my followers or the people,
I would have ordered them to clean their teeth with Siwak for every
prayer.”

“O you who believe! When you prepare for prayer wash

your faces and hands to the elbows; rub your head; and wash your
feet to the
ankles.” [5: 6]

As Quran says: “.... Or any of you comes from answering the

call of nature (it is necessary to make wudhu”. [5: 6]
“O servants of Allah, straighten your rows or Allah will cause
division in your heart” hadis

Apostle (p.b.u.h) said, “Anyone of you

attending the Friday (prayers) should take a bath.”

The Quran states: “O

you who believe when the call is proclaimed to the prayer on Friday,
haste
earnestly to the Remembrance of Allah and leave off Business: that
is the best
for you if you but knew” (62:9) Al-Jumma.

Holy Prophet(PBUH) in which he said: “Friday prayer is binding and

obligatory upon every Muslim exceptupon four (persons), a bonded
slave, a
woman, a child or a sick man” (Abu Daud)
“The most excellent worship is dua”

“You do we worship
Your aid we seek. Shoe us the straightway”
“Dua can even alter your destinies” hadis

of Allah.

Holy prophet also said, “when the day of Arafat comes Allah
descends to
lowest heavens,...

“Whoever performs Hajj and

does not commit any obscenity or commit any evil will go bath (free
of) sin as
on the day his mother bore him”. (Bukhari)

When a person makes tawaf, his sins will be pardoned: prophet

AH. The Holy Quran says, “Fasting has been
prescribed for you as it was prescribed for those before you so that
you may
learn self-restraint.” [2: 183]

The Holy Prophet (saw) also laid stress in it. He said, “Fasting is a
shield and
protection from the fire and from committing sins.”

✓ The Prophet (PBUH) Himself used to confine himself to the

mosque in the last ten
days of Ramadan, and would say “Seek the LaylatulQadr (The night
of power) in
the last ten days of Ramadan”.

intend to keep fast for the following day of Ramadan”.
Tarmidhi: “O Allah! I fasted for you
and I now break the fast for you”.

ETHICS
"Generosity
is near to Allah, near to Paradise, near to the people and far from
the
Hell-fire. Miserliness is far from Allah, far from Paradise, far from
the
people, and near to the Hell-fire". Hadis

Holy Quran also says, “Indeed in the Messenger of Allah you have
a
good example to follow”

says in Quran about him, “We

sent you not but as a mercy for mankind”
the beloved messenger of Allah on which he
replied, “Indeed luxuries are the luxuries of paradise”

He said “Truth leads to piety and piety leads to Jannah

(Paradise)“. (Agreed) Hadis

“He is a good man and never lies” Abu Sufiyaan

Prophet (PBUH) said in his last sermon, “Wives have rights over
their
husbands and husbands have rights over their wives”

Ahadith of holy Prophet (PBUH) which praise mothers and

mention their high status. The best known is “Paradise lies at the
feet of
mothers”.
“Whosoever looks after two daughters till they marry, he and I
will enter Paradise together like these (two) fingers” (Muslim)
