Journey of Faith
1. Describe how and when you became a Christian and your spiritual growth since then.
Include the basis for your assurance of salvation and eternal life.
Becoming a Christian marks a profound turning point in one's life, a moment of spiritual
awakening and transformation. For me, this pivotal event occurred during my teenage years, a
time when I was grappling with questions of purpose, identity, and belonging. Raised in a
Christian household, I had been exposed to the teachings of Christ from a young age, attending
church services and Sunday school regularly. However, it wasn't until my adolescent years that I
truly began to internalize and embrace the essence of Christianity.
The turning point came during a period of personal reflection and soul-searching, prompted by
a series of life events and encounters that stirred my spirit and awakened a thirst for deeper
meaning. Through prayer, study of scripture, and conversations with mentors and peers, I
experienced a profound sense of conviction and clarity about my faith. It was in those moments
of introspection and surrender that I made the conscious decision to commit my life to Christ,
accepting Him as my Lord and Savior.
Since that transformative moment of conversion, my spiritual journey has been characterized by
growth, challenges, and moments of profound revelation. Through regular prayer, study of the
Bible, and participation in church community, I have sought to deepen my relationship with God
and align my life with His will. I have found solace and strength in His promises, drawing
assurance from His unfailing love, grace, and mercy.
Central to my assurance of salvation and eternal life is the foundational belief in the redemptive
work of Jesus Christ on the cross. I firmly believe that through His sacrificial death and
resurrection, He has provided a way for humanity to be reconciled with God and receive the gift
of salvation. By placing my faith and trust in Him, I am assured of forgiveness of sins,
reconciliation with God, and the promise of eternal life in His presence.
2. Outline your present and past involvement in church and ministry activities.
Throughout my life, my involvement in church and ministry activities has been integral to my
spiritual growth and personal development. From a young age, I was immersed in the vibrant
community of my local church, where I had the opportunity to participate in various ministries
and serve alongside fellow believers.
During my childhood, I was actively involved in Sunday school, attending classes regularly and
eagerly participating in discussions and activities. As I grew older, I became involved in youth
group activities, including Bible studies, retreats, and service projects. These experiences
provided me with a strong foundation in biblical knowledge and Christian fellowship, nurturing
my faith and deepening my understanding of God's love and grace.
In my teenage years, I began to take on more leadership roles within the church community. I
served as a youth leader, assisting with organizing events, leading small group discussions, and
mentoring younger members of the youth group. These leadership opportunities challenged me
to grow in my faith and develop important skills such as communication, teamwork, and servant
leadership.
As I transitioned into young adulthood, I continued to be actively involved in church ministry,
seeking out opportunities to serve in areas that aligned with my passions and talents. I
volunteered in various capacities, including worship ministry, children's ministry, and outreach
programs. Whether leading worship, teaching Sunday school, or participating in community
service projects, I found fulfillment in using my gifts to glorify God and serve others.
In addition to my involvement in church-based ministries, I have also been engaged in ministry
opportunities beyond the walls of the church. I have participated in mission trips to
impoverished communities, both locally and internationally, where I had the privilege of sharing
the love of Christ through practical acts of service and compassionate outreach.

God's will for your life?
Northpoint Bible College resonates deeply with my expectations of fulfilling God's will for my life
in several significant ways. First and foremost, Northpoint's commitment to providing a Christ-
centered education aligns perfectly with my desire to integrate faith and learning in preparation
for vocational ministry. I believe that a solid theological foundation, coupled with practical
ministry training, is essential for effective service in God's kingdom, and Northpoint offers a
robust academic program that equips students to engage with Scripture, theology, and ministry
practice in a holistic and rigorous manner.
