In this lesson, were gonna learn about the important

concept of Geometry called Perimeter. Students are participating.
Perimeter is just a fancy matter that means the

distance or length around a shape.
The perimeter of a polygon is that distance around the

polygon. It is the sum of the lengths of all its sides.
What exactly does the distance around the shape

mean? Anyone?
Okay.
Well, distance or length is a 1 dimensional quantity

that we can measure the units like cm, in, and miles. That
means, is also a 1 dimensional quantity that we can
measure the unit about the length.

Okay, what exactly do we mean about around the
shape? Some of them would be short and some of them
