Kids Camp 2024
OVERVIEW
1. Respect God and Others: Treat fellow campers, leaders, and staff with kindness, love,
and respect, reflecting the teachings of Jesus.
2. Listen to Leaders: Follow instructions from the camp staff and leaders, understanding
that they are there to ensure your safety and well-being.
3. Participate with an Open Heart: Engage in camp activities with enthusiasm and an
open mind, being willing to learn and grow spiritually.
4. Be Honest and Truthful: Always speak the truth and avoid dishonesty or deceitful
behavior.
5. No Bullying: Show compassion and empathy towards others, and never engage in
bullying, teasing, or any form of harassment.
6. Cellphones/Gadgets are not allowed. Cellphones/gadgets will be confiscated to
minimize distractions throughout the duration of the camp.
7. No Littering and keep the area clean. Uphold the sanctity of the church premises, the
campers are required to refrain from littering within the designated camp area. This policy
is essential for maintaining a clean, welcoming environment and fostering a sense of
respect for the church property and grounds.
8. Campers are restricted to go outside. For the safety and security of all campers,
participants are restricted from leaving the designated campsite without prior approval
and supervision from camp staff.
1. MERITS
Merits can be accumulated throughout the camp session and may be recognized
through various means, such as:
Certain tasks by the camp staff
Public acknowledgment during camp gatherings or ceremonies
Certificates or awards presented at the end of the camp session
Privileges or rewards, shall be awarded to campers for demonstrating positive behavior,
such as:
Participation in camp activities
Acts of kindness and helpfulness towards others
Showing leadership qualities
Upholding camp rules and policies
Merits can be awarded by camp staff who observe and acknowledge positive
behavior.

2. Demerits:
Demerits are given to campers for violating camp rules or engaging in negative behavior,
such as:
Disrespectful language or behavior towards others
Failure to follow instructions from camp staff or counselors
Failure to follow camp rules
Bullying, teasing, or exclusion of others
Damage to camp property or facilities

CAMP DIRECTORS
They are responsible for overseeing all aspects of the camp program, ensuring the safety
and well-being of participants, and play a central role in planning, organizing, and
executing the camp activities, as well as managing staff, volunteers, and resources
effectively.

CAMP MARSHALLS
They are responsible for enforcing camp rules and regulations, ensuring the safety and
security of participants. They serve as authority figures and liaisons between camp staff,
participants, and leadership, helping to maintain order and resolve conflicts as needed.

CAMP MASTER
They serve as the central leader responsible for the overall management and
coordination of the camp program. They provide vision, direction, and support to camp
staff, volunteers, and participants, ensuring a safe, enjoyable, and enriching experience
for all involved.
CAMP COUNSELOR
Supervises and mentors campers, leads activities and workshops, promotes a positive
camp environment, and ensures the well-being of campers.
