TOM AND SARAH
Read about Tom and Sarah’s relationship below, then complete the exercises.

Tom and Sarah were classmates in a small town. They met during a maths class and
quickly became friends. Tom liked Sarah a lot and wanted to ask her out, but he was too
nervous. He waited for the right moment.

One day, Tom finally gathered his courage and asked Sarah out to a movie. Sarah was
surprised but happy. She said yes! They went out to see a funny movie, and both of them
had a great time. After that, they started to go out with each other more often. They went
to the park, had ice cream, and even went on a hike together. Their friendship turned into
a sweet relationship.

Tom and Sarah were happy together for a long time, but like all couples, they had some
disagreements. They had a big argument one day and decided to break up. They both felt
sad, and it was hard for them to be apart. They missed each other a lot.

After some time passed, Tom realised how much he missed Sarah. He decided to make
up with her and apologise for the argument. He called her, and they met up to talk. They
both said sorry, and they forgave each other. It felt like a weight had been lifted off their
shoulders.

Tom and Sarah's relationship grew stronger after they made up. They realised that they
wanted to be together and decided to settle down. They rented a cosy apartment and
started sharing their lives more deeply. They supported each other's dreams and goals.

In the end, Tom and Sarah's love story taught them that relationships have ups and
downs. They learned to communicate better and solve problems together. Their journey
from classmates to a settled couple showed them the importance of understanding,
patience, and making up after disagreements.
