Waking up Wiping the face with hands

Supplication(duaa)of waking up
Siwaak
Snuff water
Wash both hands three times

Washroom Enter with left foot


Supplication of entering restroom
Supplication of existing restroom

Wudo (Ablution) Mentioning the Name of Allah (Bismillah) before


beginning wudu.
Washing the hands thrice.
Using tooth stick (Miswak, Siwak) before rinsing
one’s mouth.
After performing complete ablution, recite the
following dua/supplication:

Siwaak Before every prayer


Upon entering the house
When reciting the Quran
When smell of mouth changes

Dressing & Undressing Say Bislmillah (recommended in all actions).


Supplication for putting on clothes
When putting on shoes/clothes, start from right;
When taking off shoes/clothes, start from left;

Entering & Leaving Remember Allah when entering,

Say Salam to everyone upon entering
Supplication upon leaving the house

Going to the masjid Walk with dignity, calmness and avoid excessive looking Walk to
the masjid
Enter the masjid with the right foot
Pray Tahiyaatul Masjid upon entering Proceed to first row (without
distrubing others)
Supplicate when leaving the masjid Leave with the left foot

Adhaan (Call to Repeat what the Mu’adhzin is saying, except for ‘come to
prayer) prayer/success’
After adhaan,
send salah on Prophet (Peace be upon him) and make dua for him
Make dua for yourself

Praying Pray towards a sutrah.(Set something in front and pray towards it),
Perform Voluntary and Sunnah prayers at home
Duha Prayer (2-8 Rakah after sun rises and before dhur time)
Begin Qiyamul Lail (Ta’hajjut) with two short surahs Make lots of
dua in the last third of the night Lengthen qiyamul lail Salatul
Ta’hajjut (maximum of 11 or 13 Rakah, including Witr) Rawaatib
Prayers (sunnah prayers along with obligatory salah) Shorten the
length of the sunnah prayer for Fajr, Take a rest after the sunnah
prayer of Fajr, Sitting after the fajr prayer in the masjid until sun
rises, Make lots of dua during sujood and before saying tasleem,
After finishing the prayer, praise Allah, send Salah upon the
Prophet (Peace be upon him), Saying Subhan Allah, Alhamdulilah
& Allahu Akbar 33 times after completing Salah, Ayatul Kursee,
Mu’awwidhat in morning/evening & after salah

2 rakat before fajir


4 rakat before zurur
2 rakat after zuhur
Sunnah Mu'akkada 2 rakat after megrib
praying 2 rekat after ishaa
witr (odd-numbered voluntary praying) after ishaa
Meeting People Say Salam to everyone upon meeting
Lengthen the greeting (Asalamu alikum wa rahmatullahi wa
barakartuh)
Smile
Shake hands
Speak words which are pure and pleasing to Allah

Eating Beginning with Bismillah,


Eat and drink with right hand,
Eat from in front of you,
Cleaning the Plate
sitting on the floor or on a mat
If some food drops, clean it and eat it
Keep the right leg upright and sit on the left when eating, Lick the
bowl and fingers after finishing
Praise and thank Allah
Eat the meal using three fingers.
Eat together and do not eat separately.
Rinsing one's mouth after consuming milk
Not criticising food
Eating with three fingers
Drinking Zamzam water and using it as a cure
Eating on Eed al-Fitr before going to the prayer area

Drinking Mention Allah’s name (Say Bismillah)


Drink) with the right hand.
Sit down and drink (water or any other liquid) as Prophet (S.A.W.)
forbade drinking whilst standing.
Drink water while taking three breathing pauses (two or three
sips/gulps)
do not blow or exhale your breath into the glass.
"Alhamdulillah" after drinking.

Fasting Fast on Mondays and Thursdays,


Fast three days from every month (13,14 & 15 of the moon) Sunan
an-Sawn
Pre-dawn meal (suhoor)
Hastening the breaking of the fast when the sun has set
Standing for night prayer during Ramadhan
Staying in `itikaaf during the last ten days of Ramadhan
Fasting for six days in the month of Shawwal
Observing fast on the day of Arafah
Observing fast on the day of Ashurah

Sadaqah Give in charity from that what you love


Sleeping Supplication before going to sleep , Reciting the last two ayahs of
Surah Baqara ,Recite Ayatul Kursee, Sleeping on Wudoo Reading
Soorat al-Ikhlaas, al-Falaq and an-Naas, Saying Subhan Allah,
Alhamdulilah & Allahu Akbar 34 times before sleeping, Recite the
Mu’awwidhaat and wipe the body, Sleep on the right side,
Supplicating when awoken from sleep:

Jumma (Friday) Taking a Bath (Ghusl)


Use Siwak
Wear clean, presentable and preferably new cloth
Early Arriva
Apply perfume/ Oud (make sure it’s non-alcoholic)
Cut your nails
Recite Surah Al-Kahf
We can read:
The first 10 Ayahs of Surah Al-Kahf
The last 10 Ayahs of Surah Al-Kahf
Seeking the hour of having one's prayer answered on Jumuah day
Sending Blessings upon the ProphetMake lots of duas between Asr
and Maghreb
sunnah praying before jumma praying

Travelling Appointing a leader when travelling


Saying 'Allaahu akbar' (Allah is Great) when ascending and
Saying 'Subhaanallaah' (Glory be to Allah) when descending 6
Supplication for stopover
Stopping first at the mosque when returning from a journey
