Describe a tradition in your country

Let’s see there are numerous traditions in my country, and I think one of
Vietnam’s most cherished traditions is Tet Nguyen Dan, commonly known
as Tet. It’s a national festival in Vietnam, so everyone from all walks of life
look forward to celebrating this auspicious occasion. We do a lot of things in
Tet, People travel back to their hometowns to be with their family for bonding,
sharing and having meal together. Moreover, tet is the time for all relatives
gather to decorate the house, cook traditional dishes such as: banh chung, banh
tet, jam..., elders give lucky money to children as a symbol of good fortune,
after that is firework and Tao quan’s time at midnight. Personally, I find Tet is
both heartwarming and chaotic. The joy of reuniting with family, the appetite of
traditional dishes, and the vibrant atmosphere.
