    A POWERFUL QUATERNARY GERMICIDAL AGENT


    DISINFECTS - DEODORIZES - SANITIZES

    General product information


    TURCO Thoral is a broad spectrum, quaternary germicidal liquid that can be used as a final rinse
    to disinfect, deodorize, and sanitize all surfaces with which it comes in contact. TURCO Thoral is
    not compatible with soaps or anionic detergents but is compatible with all nonionic detergents.
    Before using TURCO Thoral, all surfaces should be thoroughly cleaned and then rinsed with clear,
    clean water in order to obtain Thoral's maximum disinfecting power. When recommended dilution
    ratios are followed, TURCO Thoral will be effective in waters up to 500 ppm of hardness.

    Technical Data
    Active ingredients: Alkyl (50% C14, 40% C12, 10% C16
    Dimethyl benzyl ammonium chloride 10%
    Shelf life: No effect, when stored at normal storage conditions in an unopened con-
    tainer, to the disinfection properties for one year.
    Kill Ability: Positive disinfection is obtained at all recommended use dilutions, even in
    hard water. Pathogenic microorganisms are positively killed at use diluti-
    ons. Full kill information is available.
    Approvals: E.P.A. Reg. No. 1127-47-AA-1816. Is authorized for use under USDA
    Poultry, Meat, Rabbit and Egg Products Inspection Program as a sanitizing
    solution for equipment and utensils.
    Residual Film: None, glasses dry spotless as well as sanitary.
    Residual Odor: None
    Soap Present: None
    Free Alkali: None
    Free Acids: None.

    Uses
    Hand dish washing:
    Use 1 fluid ounce TURCO Thoral to each 4 gallons of water in rinse tank.

    Hospital cleaning:
    Use 1 fluid ounce TURCO Thoral to each gallon of water.

    Use 1 fluid ounce TURCO Thoral to each 4 gallons of water.

    Dairies, creameries and milk farms:


    Use 1 fluid ounce TURCO Thoral per each 4 gallons of water for cleaning. To disinfect, use 2 fluid
    ounces TURCO Thoral to 4 gallons of water. if a spray solutions desired, mix 4 fluid ounces of
    TURCO Thoral with 4 gallons of water.

    Garbage cans:
    Use 1 to 2 fluid ounces TURCO Thoral per each gallon of water.

    Laundries:
    For sanitizing and disinfecting fabrics, add 1 fluid ounce TURCO Thoral per each 2 gallons of water
    in final clear rinse cycle.

    Bathrooms and public wash rooms:


    Use 2 fluid ounces TURCO Thoral with 4 gallons of water.

    Bakeries:
    For general sanitizing, use 1 fluid ounce TURCO Thoral to 4 gallons of water. To inhibit the growth
    of mold, mix 1 fluid ounce TURCO Thoral to 1 gallon of water.

    Swimming pool algae control:


    Initial treatment, use 1 gallon TURCO Thoral for 20,000 gallons of water in which algae are not
    visible. By regular treatment, most algae can be controlled by the use of 2 quarts of TURCO Thoral
    per week for 25,000 gallons of water.

    Caution
    Harmful if swallowed. Do not take internally. Causes eye irritation. Do not get in eyes. May irritate
    skin. Avoid skin contact. In case of contact with skin or eyes, flush with plenty of water. If irritation
    persists, obtain medical help. Call a physician. Avoid contamination of foodstuffs.
