Course Description: This course introduces students on the teache


r a s a n i n d i v i d u a l , classroom teacher and global teacher. This emphasizes
professionalization to cover teachers ‘status and levels of professional rewards and
professionalism to improve competence. It balances theory and practice

Course Outcomes
At the end of the semester, the students can,

1. Identify the essential concepts, nature and purpose as well as various meanings,

types, foundation, and approaches of curriculum


2. Explain the teaching-learning process and curriculum developments model
3. Enumerate curriculum design models, dimensions and principle of curriculum designs
and approaches to curriculum designs
4. Give the implementing stakeholders in curriculum implementation, roles of technology
in curriculum delivery, monitoring and evaluating curriculum implementation
5. Facilitate the curriculum reforms enhancement, local and global as well as issues and
concerns.
