    MINUTES OF THE MEETING FOR HDPE PIPES DEVELOPMENT

    AT CILPC HEAD OFFICE ON 04TH AUGUST 2017

    Mr. Ellapitawatte - Civil Engineer
    Mr. Kamal Bandara - Manager - Purchasing
    Mr. Sanjeewa Dalpatadu - Operations Manager - Corporate Sales
    Mr. Eranda Herath - Quality Assurance Executive

    STATES OF MATTERS DISCUSSED AT THE MEETING RESPONSIBILITY

    01 We require to obtain SLS certification and WRAS certification for our PE pipes to
    be pre-qualified supplier to N.W.S & D.B tenders and other intuitions.

    02 We already obtained SLS certification for the PE pipes from 20 mm up to 90 mm.

    03 Director/CEO requested to take necessary action to get SLS certification for FM /SPM
    110 mm to 450 mm PE pipes as soon as possible. M(Q/A) / QA(E)

    04 D/CEO requested to follow up the WRAS certification immediately. FM /


    M(QA) informed that they already manufactured the required sample and got M(Q/A) /
    the quotation from WRAS to apply. QA(E)

    05 M(Purchasing) agreed to send relevant information to M(QA) about the Raw M(P)
    material manufacturer which belonging to WRAS certificate and import statics to
    Corporate Marketing.
    06 Director/CEO requested to find out fittings manufactures from overseas which FM
    has ISO and WRAS certificates

    07 Director/CEO also requested to find out and purchase suitable welding machines FM / SPM
    for PE pipes
    08 It is discussed to communicate with local suppliers to purchase the PE fittings SSM(C) /CE /
    OM (CS)
    09 Director/CEO requested to purchase entire range of PE fittings and to conduct FM/ SSM(C) /
    awareness programme among field staff M(QA) / CE /
    OM(CS)
    10 General Manager advised to do a market survey to get the demand for PE pipes SSM(P) / CE /
    on or before 15th August 2017. OM(CS)
