    MODULE DISCRIPTION: This unit describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge
    required to design cartoons using and adapting existing templates.

    LEARNING OUTCOMES (Objectives)


    At the end of the module the trainer must be able to:
    LO1- Prepare for drawing
    LO2- Produce cartoon drawing

    MODULE CONTENTS

    LO1- Prepare for drawing


    1.1 clarify purpose of drawings
    1.2 identify tools and materials
    1.3 select appropriate tools and materials

    LO2 - Produce cartoon drawing


    1.1 Apply to represent objects or ideas
    1.2 Handle tools and materials safely
    1.3 Feedback on cartoon drawing is sought from relevant people.

    Assessment Criteria:
    LO1- Prepare for drawing
    1.1 Purpose of drawings is clarified with appropriate people
    1.2 Tools and materials required for basic cartoon drawing techniques are identified
    1.3 Appropriate tools and materials are selected for basic cartoon techniques.
    LO2- Produce cartoon drawing
    2.1 A limited range of techniques are applied to represent objects or ideas
    2.2 Tools and materials are handled safely
    2.3 Feedback on cartoon drawing is sought from relevant people.
