    Activity Completion Report


    “YES O PROGRAMS AND ACTIVITIES”
    INTRODUCTION
    Department of education (Deped) Order No. 72, series of 2003,
    establishes YES-O as the only co curricular environmental club in schools. It
    consolidates all the environmental organizations in schools with the main and
    primary programs for the environment. This effort believes that starting them
    young in the ways of environmentalism help secure a clean and healthy
    environment for generations to come. YES-O inspires and train diverse youth
    to impact environmental issues through community action projects and
    campaigns, skills training in leadership, environmental education, civic
    engagement and community organizing and knowledge that sustain our
    communities and future.
    The Youth for Environment in Schools Organization of Cabileo
    Elementary School is committed to support the programs mandated by the
    Department of Education. These programs aimed to develop a virtue of keeping
    environment clean and green for health benefits and satisfaction, inspire learners to
    think positively to contribute in YES-O School clean and Green Program, improve
    school beautification by planting different flowering plants.
    YES-O officers has been working with their co learners, with their
    teachers, parents and stakeholders to make their programs and projects successful.
    Their project conducted serves as an avenue for the students especially the officers of
    the said organization to develop their community involvement and responsibility as
    rangers of the environment.
    The YES -O programs and projects are the following
    1. ELECTION OF YES- O OFFICERS, the elected officers will lead the pupils to the
    different programs and projects of YES-O
    2. Initiates clean up drive, which helps the school environment clean and free
    from mosquito that will cause dengue.
    3. Lead the PROJECT P.L.A.N.T.S project that improve air quality and
    makes the surrounding beautiful and green, promotes production of
    various fruit-bearing plants and vegetables, provide IGP of the school to
    help, indigent pupils in Cabileo E/S
    4. Initiates proper waste segregation to make the school
    environment ;Plastic FREE ENVIRONMENT, train and teach all the
    pupils the proper disposal of waste so that no waste scattered
    everywhere in school ground.
    5. Implements the Program; TAPAT KO LILINISAN KO AT PAGGANDAHIN
    KO
    which aims to develop the sense of responsibility of all the pupils, and to
    beautify and improve the designated area of each grade.
