I. Learning Objectives
At the end of the lesson, 75% of the class will be able to:
A. Cite the different interaction among living things in coral reefs and tropical
rainforest;
B. Appreciate the importance of protecting coral reefs and tropical rainforest
in the ecosystem; and
C. Perform effectively in protecting and conserving coral reefs and tropical
rainforests.
A. Preparatory Activities
1. Prayer
The teacher will ask one student to lead the prayer.
2. Greetings
The teacher greets the students and asks them to sit properly.
3. Attendance
The teacher will check the attendance to see who is present and
absent.
4. Motivation
The students will be asked to sing entitled “Earth” by Lil Dicky.
B. Developmental Activities
1. Presentation
The teacher will present a PowerPoint video presentation that
depicts the different interactions among living things in coral reefs
and tropical rainforests.
2. Analysis and Discussion
The teacher will discuss the interaction among living in coral reefs
and tropical rainforest.
3. Generalization
3.1. Why is it important to take immediate action to protect and
conserve these valuable habitats?
3.2. What is the significance of protecting and conserving living
organisms found in coral reefs and tropical rainforests?
C. Post-activities
1. Application
The teacher will divide the class into 3 groups and each group will
play where they act out different scenarios related to protecting
coral reefs and rainforests. They can showcase the negative
consequences of pollution or deforestation, as well as propose
solutions like recycling or planting trees.

2.2. Why are rainforests important?
2.3. What can we do to help preserve them?
