3.1 BACHELOR’S DEGREE PROGRAMMES
Duration: 4 Years (Day & Evening Offering)
GENERAL ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL  BSc. Computer Science
DOCTORATE PROGRAMMES  BSc. Information and Communication Technology
 Applicant must have a good Research Master’s degree from an  BSc. Management Information Systems
accredited university.

 Master of Business Administration (MBA) with the following (at least second-class lower division). Other diploma
options: qualifications from elsewhere assessed to be equivalent to
 Project Management HND by the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC)
 Finance may be similarly considered.
 Accounting and Taxation  Advanced Business Certificate Examination (ABCE)
 Supply Chain Management Applicants
 Full Diploma in ABCE.
 Human Resource Management
 Credit Passes (WASSCE: A1-C6) or (SSSCE/GBCE: A-D) in five
 Marketing (5) subjects comprising three (3) core subjects, including
English language and Mathematics, plus two (2) relevant

 ABCE applicants may be considered at Level 200 of a degree

 Professional and Other Qualifications
2.0 SCHOOL OF PUBLIC SERVICE AND GOVERNANCE Professional certificates should be sent to Ghana Tertiary Education

 Master of Public Health  Foreign Qualifications
 Master of International Relations and Diplomacy Foreign Qualifications should be sent to Ghana Tertiary Education
 Master of Monitoring and Evaluation Council (GTEC) for the establishment of their equivalencies, to
 Master of Public Sector Management determine their eligibilities for admission to tertiary institutions in
Ghana.
 Master of Arts in Public Administration  Diploma in Business Studies (DBS)
 Master of Arts in Governance & Leadership Applicants with DBS should have four (4) WASSCE passes (A1-C6)
 Master of Science in Occupational Safety, Health and including Mathematics and English or four (4) SSSCE passes (A-D) in
Environmental Management addition to the DBS to qualify for admission.
 Executive Master of Governance and Leadership  Mature Applicants
Applicants can also apply through GIMPA’s Mature
Programme. Mature applicants must:
Duration: 2 Years (Evening Offering)  Be at least 25 years of age at the time of application;
 Master of Philosophy in Public Health  Have completed SSS/SHS or taken an equivalent programme;
 Possess a proof of age (passport, baptismal card, birth certificate etc.)
2.2 POSTGRADUATE PROGRAMMES issued not less than 5 years from application date;
 Postgraduate Certificate in Public Administration  Complete the undergraduate application form;
 Postgraduate Diploma in Public Administration  Have taken and passed the GIMPA Mature Programme
 Postgraduate Diploma in Occupational Safety, Health and Upon passing the Mature programme, applicants are directly enrolled
on the chosen Bachelor Degree programme.

 GTEC EVALUATION SERVICES
  International Applicants who wish to be assisted with
qualifications evaluation services can send HD coloured
scanned copy of their certificates and transcripts for
 assistance at a fee of US$35.00.

Notes:
 Applicants who graduated from GIMPA, from 2014 to date
should indicate their student identification numbers on
their application forms before submission.
 The process for admission to GIMPA is very transparent.
Applicants should therefore beware of any persons who may
approach them on the pretext of assisting them gain
admission at a fee.
