    I. GENERAL DESCRIPTION AND REQUIREMENTS


    1. Description:

    - The team is assigned to prepare for a project of operations for either mode:

    a. Case study, the team can choose specific activities for the project that is easy to collect

    data, use critical thinking to develop knowledge and principles to apply across cases.

    b. Book review/Update (Contemporary content/Best practice to share with our class)

    c. Workshop: Presenting a chapter [Week]: (get approval from lecturer at least 04 weeks

    before that week)

    2. Registration

    - Access the link: UTD_2023-24_S2

    - Select the right sheet to fill in as first come first served (don’t overwrite data of other groups)

    3. Requirements:

    - This is semester project that is group working.

    o For the Case Study and Workshop (Presenting a Chapter) modes: Maximum of 9

    members.

    o For Book review/Update and 3 members mode

    - Scope to cover the following (but not limited) of relevant chapters in our course to

    o Define a problem, set objective

    o Generate scope conceptual model

    o Collect data/assumptions

    o Develop and describe the model/Main scope/Framework

    o Apply tools/Techniques to sovle the problem; complete proposal

    o Analyze and propose the solution(s) of your group

    o Conclude on the works

    - Finally, each group must submit a professional report (softcopy only, 01 weeks prior to you

    presentation date) and having a presentation (with slides in 10-45 minutes) with Q&A sections

    at the end. For those group with Presenting a Chapter mode: Submit 1)* the update vs. lecture

    slides; 2)* 30 multiple choice questions [submit 1 week before the present date] and

    3) Lesson Learned from your project

    - The performance of the group is evaluated for each member

    - Late submission 1 day: -10%

    - Late submission 2 days: -20%

    - Late submission > 2 days: Submission is not accepted! (-100%)

    - Absent from presentation: -20%
