 This is an individual assignment.

first page of the cover sheet should be in the picture format in order to ensure the accepted

Assignment activity and guidance

You are assigned a comprehensive research and analysis project focused on Mazars Vietnam and the
auditing industry in the Vietnamese market. Your findings will be presented as a report to the
management team.
The industry analysis should include the following sections:
1. Introduction to chosen companies, including their history, vision statement, mission statement,
core values and their goals/objectives;
2. Explanation of the different types of organizations and their key characteristics, include: 1)
sector; 2) legal structure; and 3) size and scope
3. Application of the stakeholders mapping to analyse key stakeholders of the companies; give
some recommendations on how companies can effectively manage their stakeholders to support
their strategic objectives while minimizing risks and conflicts.
For business modelling purposes, you will also need to examine the various business functions in ONE
of the companies and create an organisational chart to explore the interrelationships between the
different functions. The latter part of the report should include:
4. An explanation of the major organizational functions within the company (e.g: finance,
marketing, human resources) and an explanation of how each of these functions contribute to the
achievement of the company’s objectives.
5. Analysis of how the organizational structure of the company facilitates or hinders the
coordination of these functions in pursuit of the organization's goal.
Hints:
 Choose two companies that differ from Mazars in legal forms.
 Use stakeholders mapping to compare the purposes of Mazars and its competitors.
 Analyse advantages and disadvantages of the organisational structure.
 You are required to submit a report form.
