1980 SNCF & ALSTOM (Creusot-Loire) decided to develop their own hydraulic
dampers for Very High Speed rolling stock.
1987 Creation of Dispen™ entity in charge of design, production and sales of
dampers for railway industry.
1998 Creation of Alstom QINGDAO a Joint Venture Company in China (51% Alstom,
49% STATE SIFANG INSTITUTE).
April 2007 Dispen™ was the exclusive supplier of dampers for the rail world speed
record (574,8 Km/h).
March 2015 Award of SIFER innovation trophy for “Bi-mode’’ damper solution
