TUGAS BING
Assalamualaikum
First of all, let us express our thanks to the presence of God Almighty because because of the
abundance of His grace we can gather in a healthy condition without lacking anything. I
would like to thank you for the opportunity that has been given to me to deliver a speech
entitled "The Impact of Bullying on Victims".
What is bullying, anyway? The word bullying itself comes from English, namely from the
word bull which means a bull who likes to butt heads here and there. Bullying itself can be
interpreted as an act of abuse of power to hurt a person or group of people physically,
verbally or psychologically. This causes the victim to feel depressed and helpless. The
purpose of bullying is to annoy the victim who is felt to be weaker than the perpetrator. Well,
of course we have encountered cases of bullying around us and on social media.
So, why does bullying happen? There are many reasons why someone carries out bullying
to other people. First, the perpetrator had been a victim of violence at home. If one
children see fights between their father and mother and acquire violent behavior from them
have empathy for others. When someone does not have a sense of empathy within
themselves, they will treat the actions they commit as if they were just a joke, even though in
fact the victim feels hurt. Third, it doesn't get enough attention. This encourages the
perpetrator of bullying which will make him feel happy because he gets attention from the
people around him.
If this is allowed to continue, it will have a bad impact on the victim. Mental health can be
affected. Victims can experience depression, excessive anxiety, and even limit themselves to
their surroundings. There are some who don't want to go to school and choose to stay at
home. In several cases, there were also reports that the victim had no appetite and wanted to
commit suicide.
Seeing the impact of bullying that serious, as someone who saw it or even. If you experience
it, you must have the courage to report it. Because if left alone, the perpetrator will not be
deterred and will actually hurt the victim even more
