National Symposia- Inaugural session

Date: 8/9/2023 Time:9.00 am

Namaste and Good Morning to all the dignitaries on and off


the dais. I Dr. Vijaylakshmi Jigajinni faculty ECE dept,
welcome you all to this inaugural function of National
symposia
Under the umbrella of Basaveshwar Veershyva Vidyavardak
Sangha, Basaveshwar Engineering College was established in
the year 1963 and this year 2023 marks 60 th year of its
establishment.
As a part of Diamond jubilee celebrations today we are
hosting National Symposia under two tracks with the theme
Novel approaches for sustainability for engineering systems
(for Non -IT) and Emerging trends in smart systems (for IT
stream)

Now we shall begin with a


1. Invocation Song:**
"Music is the divine way to tell beautiful, poetic things to the
heart." - Pablo Casals
Before we begin our symposium, let's invoke the blessings of
the Almighty with a soulful invocation song.
Now I call Mr. Sreevatsa Kulkarani and Shri Prasad Umarji
for an invocation song.

2. Welcome Speech:**
"The only limit to our realization of tomorrow will be our

With unwavering enthusiasm, we extend a warm welcome
to all of you at this esteemed National Symposium!, Now I
request Dr. V. B. Pagi, convenor Head CSE dept to welcome
the dignitaries

3. Lamp Lighting:**
"Education is the movement from darkness to light." - Allan
Bloom, As we light these lamps, we symbolize the journey
from ignorance to knowledge. I request all the dignitaries to
join

4. About Symposium:**

Before we delve into the symposium, let's understand the
significance and purpose of this gathering. Now I request Dr.
Veena Soragavi, organizing chair, Dean R & D to brief about
this symposia.

5. Introduction of Chief Guest and Guest of Honor:**

It's an honor to introduce our esteemed Chief Guest and
Guest of Honor, who epitomize the knowledge of current
trends in engineering. TO do this I request Dr. V. V. Kuppast,
convener Head, mechanical dept.

Now I request our esteemed Chief guest Dr. Ravindra Gudi,
IIT Mumbai to enlighten us with his address

Its our privilege to have with us Dr. K. G. Srinivas from IIIT

national symposia, let us express our heartfelt thanks to all
who contributed to its success.
