VOLUNTEER AGREEMENT
1. General
Voluntary service is one of the fundamental principles of Health, Development and Anti Malaria
Association. The Association, born out of the power of humanity, has been enhancing the spirit
of volunteerism from its inception. It is also well known that HDAMA is the first community
based humanitarian organization and activities have been carried out by mobilizing volunteers.
Hence, volunteering is at the heart of the Health, Development and Anti Malaria Association
movement and volunteers are central to all activities of the Association.
Accordingly,
WHEREAS, Health, Development and Anti Malaria Association hereinafter referred to as
HDAMA is committed to provide opportunities for interested individuals to provide
voluntary service towards improving the health and life conditions of vulnerable
communities,
NOW THEREFORE, the following agreement is made and entered into as of January
01, 2014 by and between HDAMA and the VOLUNTEER to define roles, responsibilities
and expectations of both parties and to ensure adherence to the HDAMA’s voluntary service
procedures.
However, this agreement could not be taken as a legally binding contract between the volunteer
& HDAMA. Neither party intends any employment relationship to be related now or at any time
in the future.

3.1.1. Shall provide adequate information and orientation regarding the services and
service provision procedures
3.1.2. May Arrange and provide training, when and if it is a prerequisite for service
delivery
3.1.3. May provide specific duties and role description up on assignment
3.1.4. May avail the necessary materials and space subject to its capacity and
conditions
3.1.5. Shall treat the volunteer kindly
3.1.6. Shall assign supervisor( depending on capacity) who is responsible for orienting,
assigning, follow-up, and evaluation of volunteers contribution and performance
3.1.7. Shall value and recognize the contribution made by the Volunteer
3.1.8. Shall made no payment if otherwise reimbursing is approved by the executive
Director when it is obligatory to covers costs of the volunteer when S/ he travel
far from his residence
