50% of the nursing officers were between the age 21-25 years, 30% of them between the age
26-30 years and 20% of them between the age 31-35 years.
30% of them were males and 70% of them were females.
50% of them were married, 40% of them were unmarried and 10% of them were divorced.
50% of them were GNM and 50% of them were B.Sc. Nursing.
50% of them had experience 1 to 5 years and 50% of them had age 6 to 10 years.
20% of them were working in casualty, 10% of them were working in ICU/HDU and 70% of
them were working in general ward.
All of them were living in urban area.
20% of them were from joint family, 50% of them had nuclear family and 30% of them had
extended family.
70% of them had selected profession with interest.
40% of them had adapted listening strategy, 30% of them had adapted reading strategy, 20%
of them had adapted watching strategy and 10% of them had adapted sleeping strategy.
20% of them had history of physical illness.
20% of them had recent loss.

that the compassion satisfaction among nursing officers improved remarkably after
Resiliency and Recovery Program.

Researcher applied paired t-test for the effectiveness of Resiliency and Recovery Program on
Compassion satisfaction among Nursing Officers. Average compassion satisfaction score
among nursing officers in pretest was 23.2 which increased to 34.4 in posttest. T-value for
this test was 12.7 with 9 degrees of freedom. Corresponding p-value was small (less than
0.05), the null hypothesis is rejected. It is evident that the compassion satisfaction among
nursing officers improved significantly after Resiliency and Recovery Program. Resiliency
and Recovery Program is significantly effective in improving the compassion satisfaction
among nursing officers.

burnout among Nursing Officers. Average burnout score among nursing officers in pretest
was 37.6 which increased to 25.2 in posttest. T-value for this test was 18.1 with 9 degrees of
freedom. Corresponding p-value was small (less than 0.05), the null hypothesis is rejected. It
is evident that the burnout among nursing officers reduced significantly after Resiliency and
Recovery Program. Resiliency and Recovery Program is significantly effective in reducing
the burnout among nursing officers.
