There will be time for your questions after my presentation. And don’t worry about handouts i
will email my presentation to you.
So,now let’s move to the first part, “Introduction to Computer Vision”. Let’s look at the
definition … Ok, now we know the definition of "computer vision," let's explore the next sub-
point “Importance in various fields” Computer vision plays a crucial role in various fields
such as autonomous(оутономес) vehicles, healthcare diagnostics, security monitoring,
augmented reality(огментик), and more and more. And the last part of “Introduction to
Computer Vision” it’s brief history so let me tell you about it:
—---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In the old days, way back in the 1960s, people started trying to teach computers to
understand what they see. At first, they kept it simple, like recognizing letters or finding the
edges in pictures.
But as time passed, computers got much faster, and we found better ways to teach
them. One big breakthrough was something called deep learning, especially with these
things called CNNs(Convolutional neural network). They're like super smart brains that help
computers see and understand images almost like humans do.
Nowadays, computers are really good at seeing and understanding stuff in pictures.
They can tell what's in a photo, find objects, and even understand what's happening in a
scene. This opens up a whole bunch of cool possibilities for using computers in lots of
different areas.
—---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Great, now we are ready to move to the next part, “How does Computer Vision Work?”
The answer takes two parts: Image processing and Algorithms CNN and RNN.
Image processing take 5 points:
Image Acquisition(аквизишн) it’s the process of capturing visual data using cameras
or sensors.
Preprocessing(it’s cleaning and enhancing(єнхансинг) raw images to improve their
quality for analysis)
Feature Extraction(Identifying meaningful patterns or features in the image that are
relevant to the task at hand.)
Object Detection(Locating and identifying objects within the image. )
Recognition(It's when the computer figures out what's in an image and labels it with
the right name)
Integration with Robotics.Computer vision is like the eyes for robots. It helps them see and
understand what's around them by using pictures. This way, they can figure out where they
are and what's going on, making them smarter and more helpful in our daily lives.
Advancements in Hardware.Computer vision are getting better thanks to fancy new
GPUs, and neuromorphic chips. These chips are like super-powered brains for computers,
helping them see and understand images faster and more accurately.
AR and VR. Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) Imagine you are studying
something and you can interpret it in front of you. And you can manipulate it in any way you
want.
As computer vision becomes more advanced and widespread, we need rules and
regulations to ensure that it is used correctly. This means thinking about things like privacy,
fairness and making sure no one gets hurt. We want to make sure that people's rights and
values are respected when using this technology. Therefore, it is important to have clear
rules and to use computer vision responsibly.
And now finally let’s summarize all the information. We discussed a lot of information, such
as what computer vision is, how it works, and gave some examples. It has great potential to
transform our world, but it is crucial to approach its development and implementation with
careful consideration of the ethical and social implications.

A
1)Computer vision improves the performance of autonomous vehicles by allowing them to
understand their surroundings through visual data enabling tasks such as object detection
and pedestrian recognition.
2)In healthcare diagnostics, computer vision assists in tasks like medical imaging analysis,
disease detection,, improving diagnostic accuracy
4)In augmented reality, computer vision overlays virtual objects on the real world, tracks the
user's movements and interacts with the environment in real time, creating an immersive
and interactive experience.
5)Image processing in computer vision involves tasks such as image acquisition (capturing
visual data), preprocessing (cleaning and enhancing raw images), feature extraction
(identifying meaningful patterns or features), object detection (locating and identifying
objects), and recognition (assigning semantic labels or categories).
Well, let's get started. As already mentioned, today I am going to tell you about the
importance of sleep for human health and well-being.
First of all , sleep is really important for keeping our bodies healthy. When we sleep,
our bodies fix tissues, recharge energy, and balance hormones. These things help our
muscles grow, keep our immune system strong, and make sure our hearts stay healthy. If
we don't get enough sleep, these processes can get messed up, and we might have a
higher chance of getting diseases like heart problems, diabetes, or becoming overweight.
Secondly, sleep is closely connected to how our brains work. Well sleep helps our
brains with things like remembering stuff, solving problems, and controlling our feelings. If
we don't sleep well, it can make it hard to think clearly, stay focused, or feel happy. Not
getting enough sleep for a long time could even raise the chance of getting brain problems
like Alzheimer's disease or dementia.
Also, sleep affects how we feel emotionally. Sleeping enough helps us handle stress
better and deal with tough situations. But if we don't sleep well, it can make us feel more
stressed, worried, or moody, which can make life harder and strain our relationships.
In conclusion, sleep is fundamental to human health and well-being, affecting both
physical and mental abilities. By prioritizing enough sleep, we can maintain our health,
improve cognitive function and cultivate emotional stability, ultimately leading to a more
meaningful and productive life.Thank you for your attention to this main part of the
presentation. Feel free to ask any question.
