warn people about a possible fire, smoke, or
1. carbon monoxide occurrence in the area of
coverage.
Includes iron. These are used as substitutes
to ferrite core inductors. Ferrite core or
Ferromagnetic inductors have high
2. permeability and require air gap to reduce it.
Iron powdered core

wedge-shaped blade
ALLEN WRENCH__2. L-shaped metal bar that are used to turn screws, nuts and bolts with
hexagonal heads.
_ POWER TOOLS_3. These are tools manipulated by our hands and with the use of
electrical energy.
__ GIMLET ______4. Alternative for electric drill. It is a small tool with a screw point,
grooved shank, and cross handle for boring holes.
__ FISH TAPE____5. It is a tool used by electricians to route new wiring through walls and
electrical conduit.
__ HEAT GUN ____6. This can be used to bend PVC pipes, heat shrink tubing, drying damp
materials, for soldering and desoldering.
SOLDERING GUN_7. A tool for soldering metals using tin-based solder to achieve a strong
mechanical bond with good electrical contact. Effective for both heavy
electrical connections and lighter touch metal works.
_ WIRE STRIPPER_8. A small, hand-held device designed to easily strip the electrical
insulation of small to medium size electric wires.
_ ELECTRIC SAW _9. Using a toothed or abrasive disc or blade to cut different materials
like conduits using a rotary motion spinning around an arbor.
_ HAND TOOLS___10. These are tools manipulated by our hands without using electrical
energy.
