Suitable extinguishing media


Foam, chemical fire extinguisher , carbon dioxide (CO2), sprayed water stream .
Water mist may be used to cool closed containers.

Keep people away from and upwind of spill/leak. Secure the danger area. Use personal protective
equipment. Use respiratory equipment when gases, vapours/aerosols form.

Inhalation:
Fresh air supply.
Skin contact:
Wash off with soap and plenty of water immediately. Take off all contaminated clothing immediately.
Eye contact:
Rinse with plenty of water immediately, also under the eyelids, for at least 15 minutes. Consult an
ophthalmologist immediately.
Ingestion:
Do not induce vomiting. Rinse mouth. If conscious, drink plenty of water.

Do not flush into surface water or sanitary sewer system. Avoid subsoil penetration. Contact the
responsible authority immediately if the product ends up in the soil, a body of water, or the sewer
