APChem™ EB 951

Demulsifier
DESCRIPTION TYPICAL PROPERTIES

APChem EB 951 is an amine based demulsifier intermediate Appearance Brown liquid

for use in resolving water in oil emulsions. EB 951 is Specific gravity at 60°F (15°C) 0.97 – 1.02
formulated in aromatic solvent and effectively “breaks”
oilfield emulsions. It works at economical concentrations in Density (15°C) 8.08 – 8.50 lbs/gal
a wide variety of crude oil emulsions. EB 951 can be Pour Point N/A
blended with other demulsifier intermediates to arrive at a RSN 10
customized formulation.
Flash Point >150°F / >65.5°C

Crude oil contains natural surfactants. Surfactant molecules PACKAGING

ultimately separate from the oil. EB 951 is designed to
rapidly “brighten” oil from emulsions.

USAGE

The proper demulsifier concentration can be chosed based

on a relatively simple bottle test. Normally 30 to 500 ppm is
needed. An aromatic solvent shoud be used when EB 951
needs to be diluted.
