Underline all the nouns in these sentences.
1. I have a lot of homework to do, but I don’t have enough time. I wish I had a magic wand that
could do it for me. Or better yet, a robot that could do it for me and also clean my room.
2. My sister is a vegetarian, but she loves to eat chocolate. She says chocolate is not meat, it’s a
plant. She eats chocolate for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. She even puts chocolate on her
salad.
3. My teacher is very strict, but he has a good sense of humor. He gives us a lot of tests,
quizzes, and assignments. He also tells us jokes, riddles, and stories. He once told us that he
was an alien from another planet who came to Earth to study human behavior.
4. My neighbor is very rich, but he is very stingy. He has a lot of money, cars, and houses. He
also has a lot of bills, taxes, and debts. He never spends his money on anything fun or useful.
He only buys things that are cheap or on sale.
5. My grandfather is very old, but he is very young at heart. He has a lot of wisdom, experience,
and stories. He also has a lot of energy, enthusiasm, and curiosity. He likes to learn new
things and try new things. He always says that age is just a number and life is an adventure.
