Installation
On controller, there are two position keys for CHEST and TABLE, and 4 position keys for ANGLE.
Users can use these position keys in order to save position for user’s needs.
- Press Mode key on controller and one of eight keys which user wants to save
simultaneously for over 2 seconds.
- Beep sounds will be heard during saving and then saving is completed.
- Then if you press saved APR key, the equipment is moving to the position which user saved.
It is operated only while the key is pressing.
35
SU-2000(S-ARM SYSTEM)
Installation
- This equipment has been calibrated for the best suitable condition at factory but users can calibrate
a load factor of Motor and sensing distance of sensors depending on the circumstance of installation.
- The below table shows the movement of equipment for from Motor 0 to Motor 4 which are
indicated on Main Board.
- Each Motor has 4 Rotary Switches and the function of Switch is mentioned below.
36
SU-2000(S-ARM SYSTEM)
Installation
ID ON Motor Name
TYPE ON Movement direction of Motor
Set up for Max. Speed of Motor
SPD UP
(45~60Hz)
Set up for Min. Speed of Motor
SPD DN
(5~20Hz)
- Do not calibrate three ID ON / TYPE ON / SPD UP out of four rotary switches because they’ve
already settled up at factory.
- Due to the load variation of Detector and Tube while mounting detector and tube, the movement
of Motor will be passed the position or be stopped before the position while APR calibration. In
this case, please calibrate up or down of Motor speed with SPD DN Switch in order to calibrate
the load factor of Motor.
37
SU-2000(S-ARM SYSTEM)
Installation
This equipment has Sensors to protect both patients and users during operating.
In factory, the value of sensors will be settled up but users can calculate the values
depending on the various circumstance of installation.
There are all eight variable resistances when you see the Main board and each name of
variable resistance are indicated on Main board.
- How to measure Volt Gage of each variable resistance is measured by pointing both
DGND(Ground) and REF(Reference) with using Multi tester.
- If the Volume of variable resistance is turned to the right, the value of Volt Gage will be
decreased (-), and if it is turned to the left, the value of Volt Gage will be increased (+).
38
SU-2000(S-ARM SYSTEM)
Installation
- To calibrate the sensing distance of Sensor, put the subject at the expected position
and then adjust the volume value of Volt Gage with using (-) screw driver. Upon
completion of adjustment, please make sure the light of LED of sensor is on.
- Installation of Detector Sensor is optional and how to calibrate the detector sensors is
the same as the above. There are total 4 variable resistances on detector, DET
LDN(Detector Left Down), DET LUP(Detector Left UP), DET RDN(Detector Right Down),
and DET RUP(Detector Right UP).
※ Note.
- The value of Volt Gage is settled at 2V and the sensing distance of Sensors is settled at 140mm
before delivery at factory.
- The sensing distance depending on Volt Gage value. = 2.2V(125mm) ~ 0.6V(500mm)
( The Volt Gage values and the sensing distance of sensors are in inverse proportion.)

5. SAFETY
This equipment has sensors for both patients and operators safety.
First, to decide the range of movement, Soft Limit should be calculated. However, if there is any
problem of Software or exterior impact, second sensor, Hard Sensor (Proximity Sensor and Infrared
Rays Sensor) is functioning.
Head Sensor and Detector Sensor are functioning when they sense the object. Photo Sensor is
functioning when sensors are blocked. When the sensors are functioning, the equipment stops
operating and you may hear the beep sound. To settle the problem, please move away the object
from sensor or readjust the height and the rotation angle of Arm.
These sensors can be functioning between 10cm to 80cm, and these values can be settled
for each sensor’s location when the equipment is installed. Irradiation angle of sensor is
not 360 degree but sectional.
41
