INTRODUCTION

This module is arranged based on competence based curriculum 2013 and expected to enable students
and teachers to have better and more effective learning and teaching process. So they can achieve the goals of
learning and teaching process as which has been established.

This module is also used as guidelines containing some materials that involve students as well as
teachers in the the learning process. It presents not only grammar or structure but also exercises that can build up
student’s skills; speaking, listening, writing and reading. This module enable students to study by themselves
and develop their own capability. Students are also encouraged to learn, practice and evaluate themselves and
even challenged to compete with their classmates to master the material. But we have to remind that this module
is not intended to take over the role of a teacher in the classroom because teachers still have their important
duties to give guidance, assessment and motivation to their students.

. Each module presents one sub competence which is listed based on the curriculum 2013. Students are
allowed to continue to the following modules only if they pass formative test and competence test.

“OFFERING” is a module. This module help students to develop their sub competence as mentioned in
curricullum 2004. It is expected that they can pass at score 250 and continue to the next level of communication
competence.

Finally, the writer expect that this module can benefit the readers and users and become one of the
learning sources for students of Vocational Senior High School. We also open to any constructive criticism or
suggestions to make this module better
