    1. Why did you choose to pursue a Master’s degree in your field? How do you think it has prepared
    you for this position you applied?

    While pursuing my bachelor’s I became fond of Automobile Engineering, but I landed a job in Heavy
    Industries where I used to work on engineering activities of designing of steel structures. The dream
    to work on automobile was still there in me, so for a career change as well as to broaden the
    knowledge in Automobile I choose to go with Master’s in Automotive Technology.
    So in this Masters program our college has tie up with Automotive Research Association of India
    (ARAI) where we had subjects related to engine and other automobile components which I think
    has cleared or enhanced my knowledge that is required for the position that I have applied.

    2. What are the key technical skills you have gained during your academic term?
    a) Improved my CAD skills for software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks. Also got an overview
    of simulation software Ansys Workbench, Fluent, MATLAB Simulink & GT SUITE.
    b) Skills related to Automobile Engine Design, Automobile Systems and various other
    mechatronics systems.

    3. Describe a technical project you worked on that you are particularly proud of? What motivated
    you?
    We have a mini project subject in our master program, so for this I made an autonomous vehicle
    that can balance itself on 2 wheels and carry payload without losing the vehicle balance. The idea
    was to use this technology in industry to transport materials from point A to point B without any
    human interventions. The thing that motivated me to make such a vehicles is because of the
    human errors which affects the organizations work flow as well as delivery time can be cut down
    as minimum as possible.

    4. How do you keep up with the new technology trends? Have you come across a scenario where
    you had to quickly learn a new technology or tool for a project?
    While working for my previous company we used to make Bill of materials for steel cut sections,
    so to get the weight the engineers must enter the weight manually after calculating it. While
    working on the same task I automated the specific task in MS Excel by learning automation tools
    for MS EXCEL online and researching about it in various forums,.

    5. How do you handle working in a team with diverse technical abilities? Give an example of a
    successful team project you were involved in and your role in it?
    One of my duties in the company was to have internal meetings with the draftsman in the
    company, collect their data, queries and then convey this to the higher management as well as
    communicating with the customers for the input data and also with their consulting partner for the
    opinion and improvements in the projects.

    carrier goals?

    As said earlier the passion towards Automobile and Engines as well as MAN Energy Solutions
    reputation in the Industry has attracted me to apply for the intern role. After completing Internship I
    wish to join this organization to use my previous skills and knowledge as well as the new things
    that I got to learn during the internship to contribute to the company’s future endeavors.

    7. How do you ensure effective communication when explaining technical concepts to non-technical
    stake holders? Describe a situation where your communication skills made a significant difference
    in the project (good/or bad).
    While explaining the technical concepts we can use various software according to the need to
    demonstrate to them the idea which we have. For example, in companies we can use a physical
    model or software to generate a protype so that the non-technical person can understand or feel
    the product. As well as use of various other documentation that break down the complexities of
    the technical terms in such a way that the other person can understand at a single glance.
