Knitting tutorial
May top, June top, July top, Agustina top … follow the same tutorial. Here below is Agustina top knitting tutorial.

1. Knitting swatches to get recommended gauge.

To make sure your finished top is the same size as the pattern, it is helpful to make a gauge swatch before you begin knitting your
project. In this pattern, you can knit pc no# 1, steaming then check gauge of it. You don’t need to knit a square gauge swatch as
normal. If you have more stitches than the stated gauge, your knitting is tighter and you may want to use bigger needles to get
as close as you can to the recommended gauge. If you have fewer stitches, your knitting is looser, and you may want to use
smaller needles to get the pattern gauge. If the 1st pc gets pattern gauge, continue to make pcs no# 2, 3 & 4.

2. Making 4 pcs of upper part and mark their names.

3. Place sts of all 4 pcs onto same needle, in order pcs no# 4-3-2-1 from right to left (RS). Place a strip of masking tape on the
RS of all 4 pcs to tape them together. It will help you avoid twisting when knitting.

4. Join in the round and knit some rounds, then remove masking tape.

MAY top © Ngo Quynh Page # 3

5. Continue working in the round until the body tube reach determine length or reach your desired length.

(Picture are horiziontal aligned in order to save space)

6. Steam blocking the top.

7. Making 1st strap which connecting pcs no# 4 & 1. Try on the top, adjust the length of the strap. Graft the 1st strap and the top
of pc no# 1. How to graft/ Kitchener stitches video here.

8. Making 2nd strap which connecting pcs no# 3 & 2.

9. Finishing.
