unique to offer, and every experience is a chance to grow and lea
LEARNING OBJECTIVE
Engage in reading comprehension activities to understand texts, building vocabulary,
and practising basic grammar rules.
Materials Needed:
Instructions:
● Designate special spaces on the board for different activities. For example:
● Addition Oasis: Solve an addition problem to move forward.
● Subtraction Swamp: Solve a subtraction problem to escape the swamp.
● Multiplication Mountain: Solve a multiplication problem to climb the mountain.
● Create game pieces for players to use on the board. These can be animal tokens, explorer
figurines, or any small objects you have on hand.
Gameplay:
● Players take turns rolling the dice and moving their game pieces along the jungle path.
● When a player lands on a special space (Addition Oasis, Subtraction Swamp, or Multiplication
Mountain), they must draw an operation card (if using) or answer a problem related to the
corresponding operation.
● If the player answers correctly, they can move forward an additional space. If incorrect, they
remain on their current space.
● The first player to reach the end of the jungle path wins the game.
2. Array City
Create an exciting cityscape called "Array City" using arrays. Arrays are like grids made up of rows
and columns that help us understand multiplication.
Learning Objective-
To Reinforce multiplication concepts, improve spatial understanding, and enhance creativity and
critical thinking through hands-on engagement with grid-based arrays.
Date of Submission- 10.06.24
Mode of Submission- Picture of the Array City created to be uploaded on Google Classroom.
Instructions:
● Think about the buildings you want to include in your Array City. How many floors will they have?
How many windows on each floor? Use your imagination!
Draw Your Buildings:
● Use markers, coloured pencils, or crayons to draw your buildings using arrays. Use coloured sheets
to make squares of 2x2 cm. . Each square on the grid represents one window.
● Label the arrays on your buildings to show the number of floors and windows. For example, if a
building has 3 floors and 4 windows on each floor, you'll draw a 3x4 array.
Get Creative:
● Add extra details to your Array City, like roads, trees, cars, and people. Make your cityscape come
to life with your imagination!
Review Your Work:
● Once you've finished drawing your Array City, take a moment to look it over. Make sure your arrays
are labelled correctly and your buildings look just the way you want them to.
Share Your Array City:
● When you come back to school, you'll have the chance to share your Array City with your
classmates. Tell them all about the buildings you created and the arrays you used.
Have fun creating your Array City! Use your creativity and maths skills to make it an amazing place to
visit.
SUBJECT: SCIENCE
Date of Submission- 03.07.24
Mode of Submission- Scrapbook
Get ready to become plant explorers and document your amazing discoveries in your very own Plant
Growth Diary!
Learning Objective- To cultivate students' understanding of the plant life cycle, scientific
observation skills, and data recording techniques while fostering a sense of responsibility towards
nature.
Instructions:
● Plant the seeds provided in the potting soil in your pot or container. Follow the instructions on
the seed packet and give your seeds plenty of water and sunlight to help them grow.
● Use a scrapbook to create your Plant Growth Diary. Decorate the cover with colourful drawings
of plants, flowers, and garden scenes to make it your own.
● Write diary entries in your Plant Growth Diary from the perspective of the explorer in the Secret
Garden story. Describe how you care for your plants, what you see as they grow, and the
imaginary world of the Secret Garden.
● Use markers, colored pencils, or crayons to add illustrations, sketches, or collages to your diary
entries. Bring your adventures in the Secret Garden to life with your creativity and imagination!
● When we return to school, you'll have the chance to share your Plant Growth Diary with your
classmates. Share your favorite diary entries and illustrations to inspire others with your plant
growth journey.
Remember, in the Secret Garden, anything is possible! Let your imagination soar as you embark on
this magical adventure.
Instructions:
● Take your shoebox or clear plastic container and line the bottom with green construction paper
or artificial grass. This will be the ground of your terrarium.
● Glue small rocks or pebbles onto the green base to make it look like the ground. Then, glue some
craft moss or small artificial plants on top of the rocks to represent the vegetation in your
habitat.
● Now it's time to add your plastic animals or figurines! Place them in your terrarium to show the
different animals that live in your habitat. Remember to arrange them in the order of the food
chain, with plant-eating animals (herbivores) near the plants and meat-eating animals
(carnivores) higher up.
4. Create Scenes:
● Use markers or stickers to create scenes within your terrarium that show the food chain in action.
Draw or stick pictures of plants being eaten by animals, and animals being eaten by other
animals. Label each scene with the names of the organisms involved.
● If you want, you can add small containers filled with water to represent sources of water in your
habitat. Place them strategically in your terrarium, like near the plants or at the bottom of your
landscape.
● Once you're done, proudly display your food chain terrarium in your classroom or at home. Tell
your friends or family members about the different parts of the food chain and how they're
represented in your terrarium.
Have fun creating your food chain terrarium and exploring the world of ecosystems and habitats!
