    JOB TITLE 4G/ 5G-L2L3 Software Developer

    LOCATION Bengaluru
    JOB DESCRIPTION:-
    • As a RAN software engineer you will be responsible for
    ABOUT THE ROLE development of cloud-native applications for 3GPP/O-RAN
    compliant infrastructure products deployed across millions of
    sites across the country. You will be part of highly motivated
    and dynamic team developing complex functions belonging to
    L2/L3 and platform software such as radio resource
    management, URLLC, massive-MIMO, beamforming etc.

    • You’d be responsible for hardening and optimizing the software


    to make it competitive against the incumbent telecom
    equipment vendors.

    • You will also be responsible for end-to-end integration of the


    various components and debug complex issues arising in such
    a complex cloud-native application.

    • As a part of this role, you are expected to enhance the wireless


    carrier experience with our infrastructure products by
    proactively analyzing end customer issues arising during trials
    and deployment and suggesting or implementing innovative
    solutions for the same. You’d also be representing Tejas
    Networks for network deployments and software rollout with the
    end operators.
    EXPERIENCE
    ● 2 to 12+ Years’ experience in 3GPP L2/L3 Software
    Development.

    EDUCATION

    • Strong academic background with excellent oral and written


    communication.
    ABOUT THE • Bachelor’s or higher degrees in EEE/ECE/CSE preferable.
    CANDIDATE •
    JOB REQUIREMENT
    ● Candidate should be proficient in programming in C/C++
    (requirement is not about knowledge of syntax but designing
    and mapping systems)
    ● Candidate should have exposure to 3GPP/O-RAN standards
    ● Prior experience in software development for wireless systems
    (UE or infrastructure)
    ● Exposure to O-RAN architecture
    ● Prior experience in development of protocols like RLC/MAC,
    RRC etc desirable
    ● Candidate should be knowledgeable about aspects of
    scheduling, power control, link adaptation etc in a wireless
    system
    ● Candidate should have good understanding of linux (IPC,
    kernel, power management etc)
    ● Candidate should have good understanding of
    containerisation technologies (docker, k8s, openshift etc)
    ● Candidate should have understanding of fast path
    technologies like DPDK, VPP etc
    ● Candidate should have a good understanding of call flows
    w.r.t 4G, 5G SA and NSA
